• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Open Kira's Return[A Death Note RPG]

(Yay!Rivals!)
Harpy touched the pencil to her forehead. She stared at her sudoku paper in frustration and then tossed it to the side. She had no patience for that kinda stuff. he looked at the tube and saw another report on more deaths. She sighed and stood up.
"What's there to do in this boring world?" she left her house.

Pulling out a map of the city, she circled the locations to strike tonight, she circled the bank and the TV station."First stop, the bank. Let's see..." she said, using the computer built in to her watch to pull up a digital map. "Security is on the third floor huh? Easy."
She pulled up a list of events. "Party tonight. Darn, I have to wear my dress over my uniform." With that knowlage, she sped all the way to the bank, several blocks away. She tossed the map, just to see what would happen when someone found it.

Near now had nothing to do. He had solved the cases that had been sent to him, so he pulled out a bow of dice, and set to work building a city out of them.

"Heh, better make this quick."she wispered, getting off her motor bike.
She rushed up the stairs to the bank entrence. As soon as she got inside, she dashed up the stairs. "Second floor. Three more until I reach the safe." little did she know, she triggered a silent alarm, notifying all the security cameras in the building about it. "Third floor." she snuk past security. "Fourth floor." She climbed up the stairs. "Safe. Now just to unlock it, and take five hundred dollars." she was impatiant, so she used a lazar pen she just happened to grab. After getting what she came for, she haced the system to disable the security cameras. After that, she made her great escape, but she triggered an alarm, unfortunatly.

L reclined in his airplane seat, cleverly disguised with a hat and sunglasses. Although only a few people knew what he looked like, he didn't want to take any chances. He sighed and began to think. Good thing Watari kept some money in that bank account, or I'd be in a predicament. Watari... why had Light killed him? What were his motavations? L began to weep silently.

Back in the alley, in which he apparently collapsed, he saw Big Ben. Apparently, he was in London. Using the bank card he always kept with him in case of emergency, he withdrew $2000 for transportation.

He drove to Wammy's House in Winchester only to find Mello, Near, and Matt missing. Roger, the "new Watari", was thirlled to see him alive, as he was informed that both he and Watari were killed by Kira. He said that Near, after hearing of his death, had traveled to the United States to take L's place.

So, here he was, on a plane headed to Washington D.C., contemplating his next move.

Shadow hurried to the TV station, she hacked into the system and hooked up a digital camera, put on her helmet, so nobody found out who she was, but they would know by the end of the brodcast anyway, and stood in front of it. "Hello, I am S, a master theif. I want you to know, I am not from here, but where I'm from I won't tell. I bet you're curious about who I really am." she took her helmet off. "My real name is Shadow. I have heard that the killings have come back. That's because Kira isn't dead, he is alive. Anyone who trys to stand in his way will have to awsnser to me, meaning, you will be killed." she ended the brodcast there and hurried home, in the underground city.

Near watched the broadcast silently. At the end of it, he switched the screen off with a remote. The room was completely quiet for a few minutes, while the new information ran through his head.
'So Yagami wasn't dead, but in hiding. In a hidden city, most probably almost innacessable.' Near thought.

When Harpy saw the broadcast, she almost collapsed laughing.
'What the hell! Is she serious?! How was that supposed to be intimidating? And what the hell is with the damn letters!! Shoot I'll call myself H. Then we'll only need a few more leters and we'll have the whole alphabet!'she thought.

"Whoo-wee!" she patted her tummy. "That was a good laugh. Now, where was I? Oh, yes!" she hailed a cab and went over to the old SPK headquarters.

L was glad Roger gave him the address of the building in which the SPK was meeting. It was a dark building. He shoved the piece of paper into his jean pocket and entered the building, hoping to find Near.

((I'm going on holiday for two weeks, and won't be able to reply, on the account of being in a tent.))
The camera above the door clicked and followed L's movements. Near watched this footage, the expression on his face the same as normal.

L approached the chrome-doored elevator. Second Floor, Room B. That's up the elevator, to the right... L pushed the "up" button and heard the elevator being lowered. The door opened and he entered. There was no one else in the elevator - actually he hadn't seen anyone at all, not even at the front desk. "Suspicious," he whispered with his index finger in his mouth, hearing soft noise the elevator made while being raised.

The doors opened to the second floor. Now, to find Room B... There were only four doors in the small hallway the elevator opened to. L looked to the left. C, D... He looked right. B, A. There it is. He walked to the door and turned the knob.

Could I join as Matsuda? Also, how long exactly would you say this is after Light 'died'?

I am not a Shinigami.

L stood behind his white-haired friend, waiting for him to say something like, "L, you're alive?" He wanted to tell him everything, but he waited.

"Near, I know you must be surprised," he said.

Near was surprised. But he didn't show it. The only possiblity was that L had somehow come back to life...or was hiding from Kira.
In responce to L's question, Near replied simply
"Yes."
