Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

PARANORMASIGHT mafia [town win]

GTH maybe makoto at this point.
sorry, i was reorganizing my post and trying to rewrite my rationale here but it got lost. it was just that among the players who have non-trivially posted, his have felt the least consequential

i'm considering voting somewhere in the players who have trivially posted, but that feels lame ...

... although, now that i'm rereading the post that natsue quoted, i don't really see any of yoko defending natsue
I was making reference to the fact that Yoko voted Mayu due to the aggression she showed towards me, which while appreciated, is unnecessary and not particularly meaningful in a game sense.
Is it wolfy though? I have my own opinions on this but I do not find this line on its own to be a meaningful suspicion
I would prefer to hear Yoko's own response before I talk more on the matter, but suffice to say that I believe the intent behind it will clarify matters.

I actually consider Makoto to be quite trustworthy as of the moment. I do agree that his posts compared to some others may seem less weighty, but I like the fact that he both reads like he's part of the game yet he feels no need to be weighty.

can i ask if you'd consider yourself an 'experienced' mafia player, whatever that means to you?
i can't say i am! i've read through mafia games (...that's not quite the same...)
it's only day one, still getting my bearings though >_< i know we could sleep...
(i'm a little sick so... kinda running on empty. might come back later)

that's fair, i had a similar thought. i was torn between reading it as that, or as someone who's skating by without being invested in attempting to read anyone, but trying to pretend that they're involved.

feel better!

starting to fall asleep. hoping i'm able to check in closer to EoD

Alright, catching up a little bit here...
Mayu was strangely hostile right out the gate, but doing that as mafia would be one Interesting Maneuver(tm), so we can put a pin in that for now
Yoko taking such an early opportunity to cast a vote seems a bit sus (though she did ask follow-up questions from her target, it was only after being pointed out that the vote came a bit out of nowhere), but it was very early in the Day so easily changed later (which she hasn't done yet, but let's see her response to Natsue's vote)
Natsue and Shogo seem reasonably trustworthy to me (at least as much as one can get this early on)
Makoto I'm a bit conflicted on, but I'll also wait and see what he has to say

If I had to vote right now, it would probably be Yoko, but again I'll wait to see her response. It's hard to feel certain of much this early on

I disagree it wasn’t particularly meaningful. It’s one of only a few things that happened today that produced discussion!

I don’t have time to go into a lot of detail on my reads right now, but your insistence on characterizing this as white knighting feels a little weird to me.

On my end I have been perfectly serious. Do you have any serious thoughts of your own currently?
Can't argue with that. Alright, let's do it alphabetical-like.

-Everyone's checked in so far, so we have no full-on inactives, but we've got a few people who haven't posted much of anything besides that. I'm thinking of Ayame Tono, Jun Erio, Richter Kai, Tetsuo Tsutsumi, and Yakko Sakazaki.
-Harue Shigima too, but she says she's sick. Get well soon, buddy.
-Mayu Chozawa caught quite a bit of attention playing aggressive right off the bat. Was a weird play, but it doesn't really rub me one way or another, that, it's just how some folks play. What's more interesting to me is that everything after that is basically just OMGUS if it's anything -- not much follow-through on that initial attacking disposition. Doesn't feel towny to me, exactly.
-Makoto Ashimiya sounds totally normal, but he could be a serial killer or something. Watch out for that one.
-Mio Kurosuzu is kinda just posting. I think she also mentioned something about being sick, though. Geez, if it's not the killers, it's the plague, out here.
-Natsue Yamamori is staying active, asking prodding questions, giving out reads nice and early, the works. Feels above-board to me.
-Shogo Okiie is pretty involved and solvy so far. That's a good vibe I think.
-Yoko Fukunaga has mostly just antagonized Mayu Chozawa so far, and I've gotten the impression that it's less of an SR than it's annoyance at her attitude, but I could be wrong there. She says time's been short for doing much else, I guess.

That's, first things first, about half the playerlist not giving much away. Easy enough environment for the bad guys to kick back and watch active townies tear each other apart. Mayu is easily who I'd consider the most suspicious out of the people who are posting, but right now, the people who aren't posting worry me more, see?

running out of time... :/

since it's day 1 ig i won't vote, since there isn't really enough proof for anything :p,

(also sorry for not talking more, been busy)

Might as well write out what I can while I'm here. Been under the weather myself, though it's not much of an excuse, just been prone to distraction again.

Natsue seems like she's been around this sort of thing quite a few times. Don't think that says much on its own, but I think her patience is a good sign.
On the exact other side of the coin, Mayu's posting like she's got something to prove, which I think's a good look - without any expectations to work off of, it'd be a pretty big risky to come out swinging like she did.
Makoto's funny, so he gets a point.

Everyone else, eh. It's all sorta blurring together for me.

That said, I think Mayu might've picked up on something. What's with the guilty conscience, Tetsuo Tsutsumi? Why are you apologizing for not talking when half the list's been doing the same? (¬ ¬ )

not a huge fan of the complacency in this post. i would feel differently if it were made closer to EoD, but dropping this with ~4hrs to at least skim and form some opinions …

I do feel as though it was, though? Do you feel that Mayu’s harshness is something inherently untrustworthy?
