Pokemon Copper

Plot

~Plot:
This is a region of lush forests, rocky mountains and sparkling lakes. The legendaries of the land work together to keep the peace, and above them, there is Claw, a Pokemon of many talents and of great strength. Legend has it that only the Copper Flute can tame the legendaries, and when the Flute goes missing from Professor Pine's lab, the world is in panic. And when you, a young person aged thirteen, dream of Claw calling for help, you set on a quest to save the legendaries from the unknown menace.

Prof. Pine, female. She enrolls you in the Pokemon School, and the adventure begins.

~Dark Claw:
Claw's brother and nemesis. I know it sounds cheesy, but oh well. Is a Pokemon that made a Poke-ball that cannot catch himself, but catches other legendaries. He also has three unknown Pokemon, and controls human minions by mind-control.
Yeah, real cheesy.

~Solace:
Champion of the Elite Four, but roams Myrno. For some reason, Dark Claw fears her...

001-Bulbarus
Front/Side
Type: Grass
BULBARUS uses its colorage to blend inyo the forest. BULBARUS hides in bushes to avoid predators.

002-Leafaron
A large, upright, gree lizard with two large, dark green leaves on it's back.
Type: Grass

003-Leafolyon
Type: Grass
A dark green lizard with rows of spike-like leaves on its back.

004-Flamefon
Front/Side
Type: Fire
The nubs on FLAMEFON's back will eventually grow into wings. FLAMEFON gildes while jumping to strengthen them.

005-Infernan
Front/Side
Type: Fire
INFERNAN's wings are not powerful enough for flight, so they flap often to help them grow.

006-Flameferain
An orange fox with large white wings and red stripes going down its back.
Type: Fire/ flying

007-Dinu
A long, blue snake-like reptile with leaf-like, flat flippers at the end.
Type: Water

008-Dinal
A slumped dinosaur with a row of red, flat plates (like a stegosaurus) apright along its back.
Type: Water

009-Dinomal
A t-rex like lizard with huge claws, and large red plates down its back, ending in flat, leaf-like flippers (also red). It is a dark blue.

The Gym Leader/Elite Four names are... well, really bad.

Generally the Pokémon games pick names that are at least somewhat similar to a real name, even when they do the "name relates to the type" thing--Brock and Candice are real names that just happen to have "rock" and "ice" as part of them, Norman is a real name that just happens to sound similar to "normal," Winona is a real name that has part of the word "wind" (or maybe "wing") in it, and so on.
Some of them don't even have a direct relation to their type--Koga is more of a "he's a ninja" thing, Jasmine doesn't have any metal-related meaning as far as I know, and so on.

I'd suggest changing the names to something that at least sounds like a real name--for the Elite Four members especially, the current names are really bad. Try looking at one of those "597295 baby names" websites/books/etc. and pick something that has a meaning related to their type. Or just give 'em names that have no relation to their type... just because most of the official Gym Leaders/E4 people have type-related names doesn't mean yours have to.

I'll try thinking of some more, but I have to take a shower now. I'll think during that time.
 
I recently found this forum and have been looking for a good opportunity to get spriting again. if you send me images, I'll see what I can make.
 
Are you happy with the clothes on the sprite you've mashed together on Kira's sprite? Because I'm scratching a new pose and I thought you could say exactly what you envision her wearing

I didn't change the overworld sprites because, since her clothes are the same, it doesn't make much difference.
