Pokemon: Rebel Theory Sign Ups (2 spots)
Plot
You are a trainer who has joined a team called Team Xana (for various reasons), but you only realize that your job entails the killing of innocent people and pokemon when you are already one of them. After realizing this, you and several other trainers plot to end Team Xana's reign of terror for good. Hopefully you can keep yourselves unnoticed as rebels and if discovered, stay alive until you can destroy Team Xana once and for all.
Remember. Team Xana's Leader is merciless. If you're captured, you will be tortured and likely killed. Slowly. Or turned into a soulless being incapable of independant thought. *shrug* Depends on how he feels at the time.
This RP is based in Unova. Team Xana's main HQ is located in Castelia City, which has been taken over by the hostile team. Other taken cities include Driftveil, Nacrene, Nimbasa and Mistralton.
Info on Team Xana
Unlike the Main Teams in each region, Team Xana's main goal is total domination of Unova. Each and every member has had a single pokemon taken from their roster when they joined, which they were subsequently fused with, turning them into a Pokemorph. The downside to this, is that the Pokemon taken is killed in the process. The upsides include enhanced senses, and other traits taken from the Pokemon, except it's moves. The Leader, Deiros is rarely seen, except when sentencing traitors. His second in command, Abyss takes care of most of the public matters around the base. Due to the nature of the Pokemorph system used, the members are able to hear and communicate with their own pokemon with clarity, and those of others to an extent.

A cold, methodical thinker, Shade has been Abyss' partner for years. She lived with him even when he was on the streets, taking care of him like his own mother. Even when not given orders, Shade will protect Abyss with everything she has, even if it means her own life. Her usual strategy consists of mainly physical attacking, along with the occasional special attack thrown in to mix things up. She is able to act without orders, so she can protect her trainer even if he is incapacitated.
Haxorus [Nozuro] (M)
Nozuro could be best classified as a 'Weapon of Mass Destruction'. He is extremely volatile, and will attack first and ask questions later. His demeanor is gruff, at best, when he decides to actually speak instead of ripping the person (or pokemon) apart...
Houndoom [Demon] (M)
Demon is very protective of Abyss, and tends to get into conflict with Nozuro about his attitude. Most of the time he wins the argument, but only because Nozuro dislikes speaking, and inane things like said arguments.
Ninetales [Soulana] (F)
Soulana is old, and has been around to see many of man's blunders. She is bitter and spiteful towards Abyss, but follows him nonetheless. She has been known to deviate on orders, and if anyone is to touch her, she will likely deck them with a 10,000 year curse. Her spitefulness does have an end, but the most anyone will get out of her is tolerance.
Banette [Nyra] (F)
Nyra is a tricky little thing that enjoys floating around and scaring the members of Team Xana. She avoids Deiros, for obvious reasons, but everyone else is fair game. Though what she really desires is a chance to use her skills for something more....productive.
Froslass [Yukina] (F)
Yukina has a cold, frosty and analytical personality, always surveying the situation before striking. She is more likely to freeze someone solid if they annoy her than to hear their side of the story, making her a likely pair with Nozuro for 'Weapon of Mass Destruction' though that title belongs solely to Nozuro.
Description: He's a relatively normal Gengar morph
Personality: Abyss is, first and foremost, a pure deviant. He's cunning and somewhat on the anti-social/sociopathic side, qualities that made his ascent to second-in-command quite easy. He is extremely bitter compared to Luce, but supposedly, her shy demeanor just makes her more enticing to him. He, despite her protests, insists on calling her by the nickname she reserves for those who are her friends.
History: Abyss has been on the streets since he was a young child. Accompanied by his Sneasel, Shade, who did most of the taking care of him, he drifted from town to town, slowly growing more and more bitter towards other humans. When Deiros found him and offered him a place in Team Xana, he felt as if, perhaps, he would be fine after all. Being as bitter and cold as he was, Abyss didn't really care for what Team Xana did to others...until Luce came along. Her shy demeanor and and her hidden fiery personality attracted him instantaneously. He took on the job of integrating her into the Team, but all of his attempts at making her see their side of the story failed, though she seemed to remain loyal to the cause, despite the disgust she seemed to have for it.
Reason for Joining Team Xana: He was an orphan who was picked up by Deiros
Reason for Rebelling: He loves Luce enough to die for her, so he (will) lose his 'dark' ways to help the others.

A serious and sarcastic, analytical fighter. Embraea was given to Luce as an egg by her parents when they kicked her out, and therefore has been with the girl for her whole life. She will attack anyone her trainer commands her to, and will protect her with a passion.
Hydreigon [Tiamat] (M)
Tiamat is the 'Nozuro' on Luce's team, though to a VERY lesser extent. He fights to protect Luce, instead of to satisfy his own lust for destruction. He works well with Embraea, being the first Pokemon ever to be sent out in a Double Battle with her.
Archeops [Skree] (M)
A companion that was resurrected in Nacrene City from a fossil during Luce's journey. He's become one of her most important companions. He is rather rash in attitude, but his battle style is verging on suicidal. He usually deviates on orders, using what moves he deems fit for the situation. Of course...all of Luce's Pokemon do that...just not to this suicidal extent...
Cinccino [Lulu] (F)
Lulu was actually caught as a Cincinno, after she was caught rummaging through Luce's bag and accidentally touched her Shiny Stone. Lulu is a hyperactive ball of fur, but likes to keep her fur free of dirt, and can usually be found fussing over the collar of fur around her neck when she isn't zipping around Luce's room.
Glaceon [Rixi] (F)
Rixi was taken from an abusive trainer by the international police, and Luce offered to reintegrate her into a new trainer's family. She chose herself, obviously. Rixi is still tentative about trusting Luce and her other pokemon, but will fight for her if necessary.
Absol [Apocalypse] (M)
Apocalypse was found just outside of Icirrus City, causing problems with the locals due to Absol's penchant for warning of natural disasters. But it wasn't a natural disaster he was trying to warn them about...Anyway, he is rather affectionate, once you get to know him, and will protect Luce with his life.
Description: She's the Ninetales morph
Personality: Luzetta is very shy, but has a lot of courage to stand up for what she believes in. Her time in Team Xana has made her slightly jaded, (but not to the point of being suicidal). She is indifferent to life, but believes that people like Team Xana shouldn't exist in the world. Her nickname is Luce, and she prefers that only the people who are closest to her use her nickname. Her desires usually conflict with the orders Abyss gives her, but she obeys, just to keep up pretense. And perhaps because she's falling for him...it makes her more willing to listen to him. She tries to convince herself that she utterly loathes the Gengar morph, but deep down, she knows that's far from the truth.
