So basically, everyone will have an active role -- well, not actually, but there will be no vanilla townies. Those roles will be kept secret, with one exception: Every user has a quirk of some sort, which must be shown in all of the posts they make in the thread.
In addition, there will be one extra character, a Robot, which will, every night, perform a random action on a random character, and then announce the result of that action publicly in the thread for all to see.
I may have forgotten something, and there may be more to add, so this is entirely open to suggestions. This game's main purpose is to attempt to reinvigorate the Mafia forum by using a premise that's more complex than Werewolf but still not too complex as to drive people off. I hope.
