The Kobra who twists time, space and....spoons.
"Go Raichu!" The young trainer said. It was close to his final Gym Battle."Come on out, Arcanine!" the fire type master roared. Arcanine pounded his paws on the ground. "Raichu, Volt Tackle!" Dan called to his Raichu. "Raaaiiichuuuu!" Raichu replied, ramming into Arcanine using his most powerful move. "Arcanine!" Arcanine barked to his master. "FlameThrower!" "Arrrrcaaaaniiine!" A shot of fire flew at Raichu. He let it come towards him and then dodged, letting loose a thunder, defeating Arcanine.
 
In general, short pieces don't work if they don't focus on emotion. If you like action, try writing more.

Also, more varied sentence structure and vocabulary would help, and you don't really need to vocalise the Pokémon's sounds.
