Open Size REALLY does matter

Suddenly, the ground began to shake. It was...
Steve the cockroach was walking by, almost stepping on everybody.
 
The cockroach was about the size of an average horse to Isaac. (Yeah, the size difference is huge.)
 
Steve stopped in front of Isaac. He would probably have looked curious if he wasn't a cockroach. Violet gasped and swore under her breath.
"Remember Zelda the mouse? And the snake? This is just crap-rific.."
 
Violet ran away, screaming her head off. Suddenly, she fell into a huge pit, which was actually a rip in the carpet. Steve looked at Isaac, as if waiting for him to do something.
 
Startled by the whole situation, Isaac jumped on Steve the cockroach, who started running away from the snake. "How the hell did a snake even get in here?" Isaac thought.
