:D whooo we got a snow day at school! Moony's mom told me a bit ago. Which is awesome! Two days of extra Christmas Holidays! *cheers*

But there is a foot of snow out so I'm kinda worried about my mom, since she's at work right now and has a low-slung car...
 
Aww, lucky~ We haven't had any snow at all and you get a whole foot of the stuff!

Hope your mother/everyone else makes it home okay~ I'm sure everyone's being extra-careful on the roads, and snow's nowhere near as dangerous as ice.

I've never, ever had a snow day ): And now I'm at uni I never will because my lectures are a minute's walk from my room; I don't even have to go outside for some of them XD
 
it's what I get for being Canadian I guess. x3 Snow! tons of it!

I'm taking my little sister out to play in it tomorrow too~

Nice, there's supposedly a huge storm brewing in the midwest, and 11 or so inches of snow is expected here in southwest Michigan.
 
D: turns out that school's back on for to-morrow. damn.

Well our classes are only a half hour long each anyway, so whatever xD

But yes, snow days rock. Because of aforementioned storm, tomorrow's a guaranteed off for me, so yay for extra vacation days!

Sucks that you have to go tomorrow though. But today was fun, right?
 
You're still lucky. My school only closed once, and that was due to temperatures below...

I think it was below -38 Celsius, WITHOUT windchill.
