(OOC thread here.)

On this end of the land, it was rather calm.

All except the fact that a Spearow was pecking at a tree...

RRRATTATTATTATTATTATTATTATTAATTA!

He glanced outwards towards the ocean. There had to be other Pokemon here... but where were they?

RRRATTATTATTATTATTATTATTATTAATTATTTATTATTATTATTAT--

He stopped abruptly.

ZAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNN

Zangoose slashed the tree in half with a powerful swipe, barely missing the Spearow perched on a branch about 2 inches up.

Z dissapeared back into the trees before the Spearow even noticed him

((The rules said no powerplaying... which means you can't make me not notice you until I say I didn't notice you.))

Spearkey squawked loudly and landed next to the stump, looking back and forth at the bushes on either side of him. Whatever had cut down his pecking tree would pay. He flew up into the air and scanned, planning to attack the nearest Pokemon.

oh sorry i didnt know))

Zangoose didn't wait for the Spearow to notice him, Z summoned all the toxins to his claws and slashed up wards, flinging poison towards the spearow

Eddany watched the scene from her own tree opposite of the one the Spearow was pecking at. She chuckled as the Zangoose slashed through the tree. A spark of admiration glittering in her blue-green eyes. With claws like that, who needed to degotiate through anything? The Weavile, her claws deeply embedded under the branch of the tree, swayed a bit as the wind swept around her. If it wasn't for how deep her claws were in the wood, she'd have fallen right then.
As the Zangoose let loose a number of toxins flying towards, her admiration grew even more. How bold he was to attack a random Pokemon! Then again, Eddany had done the same thing countless times.
"Vile!" she exclaimed, amused.

Z didn't bother to dodge the poison gravity sent back at him, it'd just make him harder to physically hit.

Shadow Moon glanced among the the trees shortly, making sure there were no predators. Being caught and eaten without even knowing was definitely not ideal. She jumped to the side, having almost ran into a tree. Carefully, she checked behind her right shoulder, and continued, staying in the shadows. Letting the darkness consume her....

Carefully, the blue-eyed Umbreon unsheathed her claws, gripping the uneven, rocky ground. Scanning ahead for any sign of other Pokémon, she tried to be alert. She also paid attention to her ears. Predators didn't usually approach in plain sight. Her rings that were glowing to give her energy might have given her presence away; at least there was no Tyranitar or Kingler in this forest. Or at least, she was pretty sure. Hehehe....

OOC: I'll leave off here, since I could go on another three paragraphs if I didn't. I don't want to get in anyone's way of posting when they read everything.

Spearkey flitted to the side and dodged. He gave a loud caw and fluttered towards the sea, out and up where the Zangoose couldn't reach him. This part of the forest isn't safe anymore. Who wants to get eaten by a mongoose, anyway?

Swinging herself so that her free paw could meet the trunk of the tree, Eddany let go of the branch, dropping down as her claws scraped down the wood to slow down her fall. Her hind feet meeting the ground. She tipped her head back to watch the Spearow fly higher to escape the Zangoose's attacks, smirking. Baring her fangs in a not-so-friendly smile, she muttered her species name in the direction of the Zangoose. She remained in the shadow of the tree, dark pelt standing out just a tad bit from the shadows and as eyes gleamed.

The Umbreon doesn't stop to look at the Zangoose that she had dashed by. She did screech to a stop when she reached a silent clearing that was almost empty. Except for a Luxray sitting pensively on the soft grass.

OOC: If you've been wondering, this is when I introduce Sol.

As if he had heard her approach, he turned his head partially to look at her through the corner of his eye. Shadow Moon froze, gazing into the eyes that made him look blind, although since he was looking directly at her, somehow she doubted it.

"Who are you?" He asked with an edge to his voice.

"I-I'm not an enemy," Moon stammered timidly. "I've only... been passing through here. I'm not familiar to... this place. I am... S-Shadow Moon." Something was causing her to be... afraid of this Luxray. His glare was indirectly condescending. Actually, 'intimidating' was a better word. It was like an emotional cage...

Just as she thought he wouldn't be moving anytime soon, the Luxray stood up, facing her completely now, his eyes burning into her like the sun. "I am Sol."

What a fitting name, Shadow Moon thought, mainly because of the harsh glare of his eyes.

As Sol approached, Moon shivered. Wasn't the sun supposed to be cold? Hehehe... She could feel heat rushing to her face. For one thing, she had never visibly blushed, and two, her dark gray fur would have concealed it anyway. She backed away a step, dipping her head respectfully and having not the foggiest idea of what to say. The Umbreon hoped that the Luxray wouldn't mind her taking off in a flash, and so that was what she did, resting behind a tree that was probably out of the Luxray's sight, even though Luxray did have X-ray vision. She was breathing hard... even though she normally wasn't easily scared, this had stressed her out for some reason.

Sol padded out of the clearing, shaking his head. He did not know what to think of that crystal-eyed Umbreon, Shadow Moon, except that she was oddly skittish...

He paused for a moment as a Zangoose came into sight. Even though Sol didn't say anything, he was pretty sure that the Zangoose would notice him.

OOC: This time, I have a long post. :D

Z wasn't intimidated by the large luxray that entered ,too close to him.

"...another pokemon..."

"that umbreon looks like she wants you, and you...Weavile...what do you want?"

"What do you mean?" Sol asked, at the term, 'wants you.' He swished his tail, tilting his head with a questioning gaze. At least this Zangoose wasn't perturbed at the mere sight of him.

OOC: I know, I don't like making three-sentence posts either. Dx.

haha Darksong dont worry about how long or short it is, just post post psot :]))

"well did you see her?"replied Z,"She blushed AND showed respect...timidity(word?) usually means they like you, but in your case...you might just be scary to her...but she did blush, and she did bow...ish"

Z tapped his head twice.

OOC: I wish I could find some way to fit the Marowak in here...

Spearkey didn't pay attention to the rather dangerous-looking Luxray below him. He simply flew deeper into the forest. He wanted to peck a tree, but then the Zangoose would go for him again. Decisions, decisions...

OOC: Sorry if it wasn't clear, mehwmew, but I did say that it was actually not visible that she had blushed...

You're ruining my plans Naw, it's okay.

Now I just need to get in a fight with someone, please.

"BIRD" yelled Z,"I won't attack you."

"promise."

"on the otherhand...you...dog, go visit that lady-umbreon...now..or else"

Eddany stepped out of the shadows. "Nothing, actually. Just greeting a face I've never seen before," she said, tone sarcastically cheerful as her claws were out. Her smirk faded into a frown. Honestly, these guys were making too much noise to get on her nerves. This had been the first good day after a year had passed, and she didn't want them to ruin it.
"And why must you talk so loud, all of you? I'm trying to enjoy a nice day out. It's the first time I've been happy in a long time."
