Closed X: The step into other worlds

Rhythm blinked at her, and wrapped his other arm around her midsection, blushing.
"No, you haven't told me, but thanks..." he said, feeling the heat rush to his face and blushing even harder. He wasn't that used to compliments.
Aidan shuffled around a bit on the couch, before yawning and closing his eyes.
Falar turned around to face the owner of the voice.
"Um...Hello." He muttered, sparing not much more than a glance to this girl before heading towards the hall.
Opal moved even closer to his face, so close that their noses were almost touching.
"Just...everything about you is wonderful...you're as close to perfect as anyone could get..."

"Well you are." Zora pulled him into a tight hug when she saw him blushing.
Fairwind shrugged, then sat down in a chair, looking very interested in Aidan.
"...Your hair. It is blue."
"B-but..." Hera stammered, "I... What is that I don't even-"
"Calm down." Darkness laughed, "I'd say the boy deserves it. After all, I'm sure he didn't mean to come across as an idiot."
"But he is an idiot!"
Jesse had turned... bright red by now. He was rather used to women calling him a moron. This was new for him. Not that he didn't like it of course. He loved it.
"Th-thanks..." he mumbled, "Certainly wasn't expecting this to happen today..."

Rhythm blushed even more at this, but hugged her back just as tightly.
"Th-thanks..."
Aidan opened his eyes after hearing Fairwind's sentence to see her staring at him.
"Does it amaze you?" he asked, smiling.
Opal smiled as he said this, wrapping her arms around his neck.
"Neither did I..." she said, before moving forward and kissing him softly.

"You stuttered." Zora remarked. She used the short moment of silence afterward to pull herself up onto him.
Fairwind still stared at him.
"Yes it does. It's really really... blue."
"And I know that. But it's her choice in the end." Darkness answered back, "But yeah, that's what I came in here for. Now if you don't mind, I need to wait in here for them to be done. Need to ask him to help plan a party for the menfolks. I'm planning for the ladies."
Jesse kissed her back, but only for a moment. He broke away from her and smiled, although he was still bright red.
"So... what do you suppose we do about this...?"

"Wait.....what?" Jax asked, "He ended up getting with her?"

Jax looked very puzzled.

"Well, we better get to work on the party." she said.

"Um...Y-yeah..." Rhythm muttered, shaking his head violently. When he stopped, his face was still as red as before. "Sorry...Dunno what's come over me..."
Aidan playfully flipped his hair in front of his face.
"...It is blue, isn't it?" He said, smiling.
Opal thought for a moment, although she knew what she was going to say.
"Well...A relationship isn't such a bad idea, is it...?"

"Oh, it's OK. I was doing it earlier." Zora chuckled, starting to play with his hair.
"Yes, yes it is." Fairwind muttered, before picking up a lock of her own and glaring at it. "Why can't you hold that color, huh? Huh? Always gotta be fading to green and shit."
Darkness looked at Jax.
"I... I think he did. I'ma wait and see if it's official though." she shook her head to clear it. "Anyway, the first thing is we all should agree to keep Cyndra away from the punch. At either party."
"Agreed."
"Well that... sounds like a damn fine idea to me." Jesse took her hand in his, with that grin still on his face.

"Agreed as well." Jax said, "But....what should we do for it? I was thinking snacks and things, cake, and.....embarassment."

Jax giggled.

"Alright..." Rhythm reached a hand up and began stroking Zora's hair softly and tenderly.
"Your hair isn't that bad." Aidan said, with a comforting tone in his voice as he stared at Fairwind's hair interestedly.
Opal smiled at him as he took her hand.
"Well then...it's official...You got the girl."

"Soo... what do we do until the party...s, then?" Zora asked as she readjusted herself to make herself comfortable.
"Yes, but I have never been able to make the streaks stay blue." Fairwind muttered. "Purple? Sure! bright glow-in-the-dark red? That too! But never blue!"
Darkness tilted her head at Jax.
"Embarassment, y'say? Let's hear it."
"I... got the girl..." Jesse repeated to himself, his smile just getting wider and wider. "I... just... wow."

"Hm...I dunno...Anything in particular you have in mind...?" Rhythm said, allowing Zora to comfort herself before tightening his grip slightly.
"Mmm...Well, I can't help you there. As far as I can remember, my hair was like this." Aidan said, holding part of his hair in his finger and examining it.
"I don't mind it though. I could do with cutting a couple inches off, however. Hair's too long for my own good."
"Why are you so shocked...?" Opal asked, staring at him and examining his beauty, "I'm sure many other girls would have wanted you..."

"... Not in particular. I guess we just kinda... wait till they're done. Something should come up." Zora sighed, while still playing with his hair. It amused her.
"...Oh. Well then." Fairwind commented. "And if you ask me it looks better long. But that's just the word of the resident non-straight."
"...You're not?"
"No, why?"
"Hah, not with the way I tended to hit on them like that... you know the way." Jesse laughed. "I think I owe it to you for scaring me into trying... something different. And look what that got me. It got me you. Couldn't ask for much more than that."

"Ehh, you're right...Something will come up eventually..." Rhythm sighed, yawning as Zora played with his hair.
Aidan blinked at Fairwind with that statement.
"Well then. Um, I'll take it as a compliment."
Opal stared at him, with a big grin on her face.
"...Thank you, Jesse..."

"Yes, yes it will." Zora stretched out in his grip a little. "Knowing them though, it won't take too long."
"As well you should." Fairwind yawned, taking a seat. She looked around, making a face. It was quiet. And then Storm walked into the room.
"Hello all."
"You're welcome." Jesse matched her grin. "Now, whatcha say we leave this stuffy old room then?"

Rhythm nodded in agreement, yawning again.
"Man, I must be really exhausted...The party will awaken me though. Hello Storm." he added, using one hand and waving awkwardly.
Aidan looked up at Storm from his laying position and also waved, not saying anything. He was obviously quite bored and tired.
"I agree entirely." Opal said, standing up and stretching.

"Like I said, shouldn't be too long now." Zora yawned. "Maybe we should get up. Y'know, stretch out a little. Usually wakes me up, at least."
Storm blinked at the pair, then sat down near Aidan. He reached for the water bottle on the nearby table, before pausing.
"Oh... was this yours?"
Jesse also stood up and stretched out, before going over and standing at the door.
"After you, milady."

"Maybe tying Rhythm to a pole....wait, that's Jesse's job." Jax giggled, "But for our party, giving Zora a little makeover may be good."

She grinned devilishly.

"You speak the truth." Rhythm sighed, breaking his grip on Zora and standing up. His legs felt extremely weak from laying down, and he nearly fell back onto the seat. However, he managed his balance and stayed still for a moment. Once he felt confident enough to stand, he stretched quite a bit before he collapsed back onto the couch.
"Stretching completed." he yawned.
Aidan looked up at the water bottle, then waved it off.
"It is, but you can have it if you want. I don't mind."
"Thank you, dearie." Opal said, smiling as she walked by him out the door.

Next, Zora stood up and stumbled, before stabilizing herself and stretching out quite a bit. There were a few audible cracks too, which made her flinch a bit before she fell back on top of Rhythm.
"...You make a nice cushion."
"Nah, I don't want it, I'll get my own." Storm commented. "...Later." He smiled then rested back in his chair, brushing back his bright white hair.
Jesse followed her out, eyes locked on the path to where the rest were. They'd be surprised.

Rhythm flinched a bit as Zora fell on top of him, but readjusted himself soon enough.
"Nice to know." He said, smiling happily. "I'll take it as a compliment."
Aidan looked up at Storm as soon as he said "later".
"Procrastination is amazing. Air high five." He raised his hand up in the air and high-fived towards Storm.
Opal looked over her shoulder at Jesse, smiling and making sure he was following. She then strode out towards the main room, almost with a spring in her step.
