Obama is withdrawing it's troops from Iraq, which seems to be more of a victory for President Bush.

We're finally leaving. Or are we?

The United States Government is leaving behind a massive embassy.

The fortress-like compound rising beside the Tigris River here will be the largest of its kind in the world, the size of Vatican City, with the population of a small town, its own defense force, self-contained power and water, and a precarious perch at the heart of Iraq’s turbulent future.

They neglect to mention in this opening paragraph that it cost around 1 billion of the tax payer's dollars to build, and costs around 1 million dollars annually to maintain.

So, TCoDer's, are we really leaving Iraq? Why has our current trasparent Administration hushed up the enormity of this building?

I had never heard of this building before, except when I watched Fox's Glenn Beck with my grandpa last night. I couldn't find mention of it on The New York Time's website, and it took me about an hour of searching to find this article.

Anyway I think this is a pretty bad idea because it seems like you're leaving a bit of America in the country forever for no reason but it's better than leaving the troops there.
And come on, one million a year to maintain is nothing compared to the millions funneled each week into the dumbest war ever waged.

Fox News lets O'Reilly have a show where he malignantly harasses and insults people with massive cognitive dissonance (ie when Bristol Palin got pregnant and he cried shame at the liberals for noting the irony in her mother's abstinence-only views when he'd insulted a lady whose daughter had gotten pregnant a while back).
In fact I could go on about O'Reilly for days because he's human shit, don't know that much about Glenn Beck right now apart from the rare shows I've seen but seeing as he's Fox News' mascot he's probably even more scummy than is readily obvious.
