the Dodge meta thing seeming completely and utterly unfounded if anyone bothered actually investigating. she keeps saying that it's not based on meta but 2/3 of her points seemed meta-based or something that I both found strange and disagreed with (would someone who has played 1 game as town that lasted 1 day be significantly more confident in their town abilities than someone who hasn't played?). I am kinda mildpanic.

okay, so, here's the thing that full and proper wigged me out wrt Butterfree

I too was getting the sense that the budding Mawile wagon was going a little toooo smoothly for my tastes. moreover, Butterfree parked a provisory vote in there without ever having expressed suspicion of Mawile previously; that struck me strongly as that classic sort of, silently sheeping onto an organically wrong wagon. I'm catching that vibe quite a bit more concretely than any of my previous low-grade SRs

(I also thought the way she was pushing on me earlier was a bit off, but not nearly enough so to be worth the OMGUS. now that I have actual grounds to get suspicious, though, that adds onto it)

...I won't deny it's awfully tempting to vote Mawile (or Butterfree) and turn it into a 2v2v2v2 roulette for the bit.

-DarkAura seems to be getting the same muddy sense we all are while lacking the confidence to push a vote through anywhere about it, and xrunner48 is doing the classic newbie "let's not act until we have Decisive Evidence". which is to say, I don't have a bead on either of 'em
-if I actually convince people to get on this butterfree wagon, I'll have gotten her killed before N0, which would be a new record in terms of "Butterfree doesn't get to play ever". which is very funny, but also loathsome. oh well

you're really milking that one for all it's worth huh?

Well, I promised cow jokes, but no one is laughing so maybe I should stop.

i was kind of hoping actually reading closer would make me want to join mewt but it did not. still feel like any meta read in general on Dodge seems at best extremely ill-informed and at worst suspicious and I still think MF's read on me was weird so yeah you know what sure.

Hmm. I don't think so? I think that like... mewtini is having a calm natural tone (which is making people soft light town lean her) but I agree that she seems to be making reads based on things that are ~thin and then like, in her reiterating that position when asked about it, it feels constructed/forced somewhat. (sorry if you wanted deep thoughts on the actual substance of the Dodge read; I'm not following on my phone, I just wanted to throw my vote around)

Oh boy, I'm back after a while! I'm caught up now, though
I can understand the wariness towards me considering my tone is kinda, well, all over the place.
In my first game as Town, I didn't talk much partly because the game was short, and partly just standard-issue social anxiety lol
I'd like to think I'm getting more comfortable with time, but nervous jokes are still my default I guess.

Regardless, in my second game, as Mafia, I started posting more in the hopes of getting people lynched despite worrying about incriminating myself (which almost backfired, I remember mewtini almost gave me a heart attack near the end), but people going inactive kinda carried me there

Of course, all of this to say that I probably do sound nervous rn (especially with multiple votes for me now), but I do believe that's not too different from before? I dunno, I'm not gonna try to pull the smol bean "I'm not evil, I'm just bad" defense two games in a row (especially when I was evil when I did, I'm pretty much the boy who cried skill issue)

Either way, even with my head on the chopping block, I'm still hesitant to risk voting out an innocent, so I wanna hear more from ya'll before I cast any votes. I know abstaining too often isn't the best, but I still feel MF, mewtini and Butterfree are contributing similarly to how they did the previous recent games (I haven't gone back to check, but I think Butterfree was a bit more quiet than this when she was Mafia in my first game?) So I guess at most I could be persuaded to vote for Mawile? But I'll have to read back some more for that as well
