I'm interpreting the big aggression as probably more towny than not, though. Seems kinda galaxy brain to go for that as scum here? Not that that's impossible, but.

Eh. True enough that opening days around here are more often wishy-washy than not, but in a game with no hammering, you can just kind of throw votes around. I could vote for Ayame Tono right now, in fact.

And then I could unvote in the same post.

I could even then vote Makoto Ashimiya. Or change it immediately from there to, I don't know, Shogo Okiie?

I do feel moved in certain ways by certain people so far, but as also put, it's D1, and it can be relatively hard to get a grasp on the game that quick.

Reactions to Mayu's pressure on me are interesting, at least.

can i ask if you'd consider yourself an 'experienced' mafia player, whatever that means to you?

there's a decent chance i'm not around at EoD ... i'm planning on solidifying the few thoughts i have off of (checks) 30 posts and putting down a vote before i go to sleep tonight, hopefully

i will comment that i think natsue is towny thus far; imo wolves would be more willing to accept white-knighting and take the chance to avoid going on the defense. she does the opposite of that in the post above me. i don't know what the rationale behind her yoko vote is, though if it's what i think it is, it's also loosely towny.

i am also not currently planning to vote mayu toDay. i am a little put off by some of his posting -- i do think it's unnecessarily aggro -- but i also don't believe it's AI yet, and i'm trying to be better at avoiding voting just out of playstyle/vibes conflict. i had the thought earlier that it's probably the easiest mis-elim, but that seems less true now.

I was making reference to the fact that Yoko voted Mayu due to the aggression she showed towards me, which while appreciated, is unnecessary and not particularly meaningful in a game sense.

Why should I have to do the work for you? You could've spent all this time interacting with them yourself

Was I meant to comment on the state of the game at that point?

"I hope that the coming days are fruitful, although we must prepare for every eventuality" is a statement that tells me nothing about you, nothing about the game, and nothing about your thought processes, not to mention how wishy-washy it reads

what thought process or conviction do you expect them to have, as opposed to being 'wishy-washy'?

A general comment on the setup, for example. Or just an ordinary fluff opener that was more straightforward and expressed a more confident mindset

what do you mean by the first sentence? because me saying that i "wasn't sure what to make of this" at the very beginning of the game wasn't a proclamation that i think you're wolfy to the point of wanting to vote you. by that point, i had already pinned you as a player that i wanted to be cautious about when forming reads

GTH maybe makoto at this point. hopefully we get something from the, what, 5 players who have posted virtually nothing (or literally nothing, for some of them)

sidenote: my playstyle is very meta-dependent and i'm out of my depth in anon games
