• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

  • how can Comic Sans be a programming language if it isn't even a language. how dare you
you know what, I have seen the light. from now on, the best programming language is.......... Calibri (followed closely by Times New Roman)
can you fuckin imagine turning in an major assignment written entirely in bbcode. I will buy you one (1) ice cream sandwich if you do this
raddddd, I'll probably drop by after my econ exam tomorrow, then? if they're still open at 4 pm. when do comp sci students usually take their naps

uhhh excuse you clearly bbcode is the only acceptable programming language in this modern day and age. convert all your assignments to bbcode immediately
I can ad-lib the secret comp sci language just fine see look. coding

hmmmm, are ice cream sandwiches on until the end of the exam session or have I already missed my chance, though?
pfff I'll show up like 'HELLO I am here for the ice cream'
'oh okay cool are you in first year. what courses are you taking'
    'english and linguistics'

cheap ice cream sandwiches and rock paper scissors tournaments and paper airplanes. the comp sci undergrad office is The Place to hang out, evidently

(meanwhile in the pol sci department, the TAs were like 'we're hanging out at snakes and lattes after the exam if any of you want to.. watch us play board games')
oh my god are all the departments like this at u of t. or is it just comp sci that has Too Much Fun (shouldn't you guys be studying. get back to work)
uhhh I know for sure there's a lot of group work in language courses, which is why I dropped French lol. (what if I follow you into comp sci so I don't have to work with people for marks...)
yyyyyeah okay probably. I think I'd rather have 400+ student classes than small classes with group work, though??? what year does group project hell begin
instead, we have 25pg Secret review pdfs that are emailed.. terribly and bounce right off my spam filter, into outer space. just.. undeclared major things
omg I have no idea what's going on but I'm laughing

'I HOPE HE WILL BELL CURVE, OTHERWISE, I WILL SEE YOU NEXT SEMESTER'
