Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

  • I'm really passionate about Science in general, so that should work out. I can't take pre-cal over the sunner, so that's out. I think a local college does offer calculus, and a couple of my friends are doing it, so I'll look into it. Thank you so much! :D

    :o omighosh that looks amazing how/when do you sign up? is it a some get in, some don't thing?
    Well, I do live in the U.S., Indiana in fact. I've been involved in Science Olympiad for the past few years, as well as choir. How does MIT view those? Also, as far as IB, a question- I'm taking two sciences, Chem HL and Physics SL. My school offers IB math SL and HL. To take HL, I'd have to take Pre-calc over the summer. I can do SL just by taking Pre-calc junior year. Which would be the smartest option?

    I think I've heard of the Reasearch Science Institute, but I'm not entirely sure what it is.

    Thank you so much for the help! just knowing I might have a chance is one of the most exciting things I've ever heard. :D
    So... I heard from bulbasaur you were accepted into MIT. Congrats! What was everything like, getting in and all? Somewhat like bulbasaur MIT is a dream school of mine to get to, and... well, what should I expect/do to further my chances?

    Also, I have the International Baccalaureate program at my school, and I'm planning on taking it the next two years of high school. I've heard that helps but... I'm not sure about anything.

    If you can help, thanks!
    fuuuuuuuuuuuuuccccccccccckkkkkk
    36 on ACT? fuck fuck fuck fuck fuuuucccccckkk
    Are you doing any HL's?

    I stand out about as much as a drop of dihydrogen monoxide in the sea of applicants. What do you think they're looking for? Would starting a Competitive Pokémon Battling club in my school help if I put that on one of my extracurricular activities, or would that just turn them off? What about standings in a math contest?
    I still can't believe this. ;_;

    Hmm... I might consider for next year, then.

    But I've been working on it for like forever and I don't see an increase. I've been getting in the same score range for the last 2 years :'( always 2140-2180, with a few oddballs.

    :o
    ...
    :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

    I guess I know what it feels like to be in the presence of a famous person now. What was your courseload for your senior year? Any AP exams? Scores?
    Oh my god I'm actually talking to someone who's a future student at MIT i am making no sense help

    I'm the equivalent of a sophomore, but I don't live in the USA, so I don't think it's very possible for me to get into that program. Also I'm getting <2200 on my practice SAT's so yeah there's basically no hope for me to get into MIT ;_;

    Anyway, congrats! What program are you planning to go into?
    Oh my god

    :DDDDDDD

    This is not a joke right?

    Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

    ;_; What did you do to get in? What was the interview like? Any suggestions for what I should do to improve the chances I get in? What was your SAT score? May I have your autograph? ;_; aaaahhhhh
    I'm... alive, I guess. And I breathe and eat and sleep and drink and--

    How are you?
    You haven't had a VM conversation for a couple months, I see.

    derp, I just realized we use the same naming scheme for ASB Pokémon.
    oh, er, I forgot! Do you want anything in ASB? I didn't realise you played it.
    ...I like your avatar, but what's it of?

    Also, sorry about that *points to your C&C thread* I'm not very good at giving advice, so I'll just say good luck.
