Oh, okay. I'm not sure how he could edge the fear from her if he relies on fear; that'd be like a fire dancer convincing someone to buy a swimming pool. I could possibly try to change it like you suggested, although I'm not quite sure how that would work without it being OP.
I just don't know. D;

What if he just put her in this massive spell surrounded by all the guys she'd ever had minor feelings for and scared the scares out of her.
I'm not sure how we would do it though; it would have to play out pretty well for a guy that uses fear to his advantage to actually quell a fear, but I'm sure we'll find a way.
Actually, this is just an idea, and it involves a lot of junk that would probably mess up stuff in the RP later, but if they had a romance somehow, and your character realized that if the embodiment of fear wasn't scary to her, then other guys shouldn't be.
