    I actually got a random shiny Quilladin via WT one time. I sent it right back in out of a mixture of contempt and guilt at the fact that I hadn't fed anything decent in in exchange for it.

    Three Fire/Fighting types in a row is just taking the mick, if you ask me. Blaziken was awesome, Infernape was pretty neat, anything beyond that and it just got old.

    Honestly Chesnaught is the only Grass starter I actively like. Gen VI was an awesome gen for starters in general, I loved every stage of every starter except Quilladin.

    Also I lied, I just remembered none of the Gen V starters really stick out to me either. I mean I love all their basic forms but I'm really not into Serperior, Emboar or Samurott at all.

    It really pads the game out, when in most other regions it's like ok I beat the E4 what now. I mean it's not like a whole extra game's worth of content, since you just kind of blow through the gyms and then you're done all over again, but it's more decent a postgame than any other game gets with the possible exception of the Delta Episode.

    Honestly its dex is fairly meh in general, and it's the only region whose starters I have no particular liking for (no offence intended). It's more the region in general that I like, especially the fact that when you're done with it you can go have adventures in Kanto afterwards.

    I've always thought it'd be neat if ASB had a thread where people can donate arena ideas. And not just because Abandoned Stone Factory is the only one I've ever managed to come up with that wasn't lifted from an unrelated video game or something.

    True. I don't even know what I was thinking honestly, that's just what occurred to me was the way things should be and when I reposted the arena I rewrote all the daft bits apart from that one. :v

    That said they do violate the "no non-evolvers" rule. Though I'm not sure why that was ever there to begin with. I guess because I reasoned they wouldn't react to evolution energy or whatever.
