    it's not exactly obvious but i picked it up after the phrases didn't work the first time and i noticed she was speaking about the phrases in all caps

    the phrases /do/ work but you have to enter them in all-caps

    I *think* you have to delete some friend cards before you can add more. I haven't tried adding more friends when my list was pretty full, so I'm not 100% certain.

    Yeah! I think it's something like two or more interactions (trade + battle or two trades or something) and it asks you if you want to add them as friends and you'll both get each other's FCs added. Of course, they have to agree to add you as well but if you just put something like "Trade/Battle for FC" in your profile/shout message, you should get people who want to add you. C:

    Friending random passerbys will probably get you the medal in no time! When I was filling my pokedex in Y and trading/battling with random people and adding them I filled up my friend list pretty quickly.
