    I haven't been following the Homepass stuff much either so idk. There are apparently 28 people here who got the Eon ticket via an official contest of some kind, so maybe one of them is close by or in a city I can visit :O

    I live in the middle of nowhere though, but apparently there are a few 'official' Eon Ticket holders in various cities even in my country? I might actually have a chance at getting it :O

    Of course, if I can't find any place to get a ticket I could always try messing aroung with Homepass, though it seems like a huge hassle.

    Your Latias' stats really remind me of my shiny Reshiram, who also got a neutral nature despite my Modest synchronizer and 1 in one stat (it was Defense iirc, but still) and otherwise good IVs. :D

    Uugh I can't even imagine having to do the whole close game + go to menu + start game hassle though, glad that the runaway method works. Now if only there was a way to easily snag the Eon Ticket from someone so I could try my luck at a shiny Latias too :O

    Hey, sorry I haven't been able to trade. My family always hosts a New Year's Eve party, so I was busy helping with preparations and taking them down afterwards. Tomorrow, I'm available for trading most of the day (except early morning).

    I'm pretty sure the avatar gets shrunk to like 80x80 in VMs, and for that presumably the forum makes a thumbnail.

    Nah. Like you say, he's by no means an awesome parent, but for all his perpetually aggressive speech and mannerisms, he doesn't really have violence in him. Dave is a meek, timid, insecure guy conditioned by decades of internalized toxic masculinity to pretend to be a cool, confident tough guy until he believed it himself. It didn't take long for him to start loving the morphs out of his life, but even before that, for all he'd disdainfully talk like he'd throw her in the nearest dumpster if he could get away with it, he just did his fumbling best to take care of her.

    I opened the fic in a tab and still have it open, but haven't gotten around to reading it. I have about twenty fanfics I intend to read at some point open, so.
