• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

  • Yeah, sure thing. I've been feeling kind of guilty about it because i'm prolly not going to use it so i'd be more than happy to give it to someone who will, i'm willing to take just about any sum you're willing to give for it. :o
p.s. actual mechanical question for once: in the tourney battles, damaging Normal-type moves are limited to 3/Pokemon. Does Super Fang count toward that limit, even though it's a fixed-damage move?
Not sure quite what you mean? If you used Memento, the bout would end immediately, and if you managed to use it and still have energy greater than the sum of the foe's health and energy (after crysteries are factored in), you would win the bout... not sure if that's what you meant or not
ahahahaha I almost got mine up to 83 and then I realized I'd forgotten to make sure it was the right nature so THERE GOES THAT TASK since I don't have time to hatch/level another before work
no problem! goodness knows, work is suddenly piling extra stuff on me (two people on my team have retired this month and they won't be replaced until 2016) so I totally don't have enough free time to be in a rush to get anything TCoD done too quickly :/
yuuuup on that Exploration I just troll the Shelter for three Bidoof and three Bibarel all together instead of bothering to level any of the Bidoof
Well, in Portuguese, Metallica has no pronunciation ambiguity, really, so it's jus- LOOK AT THIS EIFOGRAPH! EVERYTIME I DO IT IT MAKES ME LAUGH
I really can't fault you for nudging Superbird about Mimic, buuut the way he originally reffed it is about the only way I can imagine that round having gone well for me, soooo... I guess I'll just sit here biting my fingernails off in anticipation (a familiar situation, eh?)
... Did she actually? Because that's a hilarious thought.

Aside from mixing it up with that of Superbird's whale, I guess. And well, that's what I meant, and you'll note that I said nothing explicit about how intentional the falling involved was.

Of course mine does, since it's in your godforsaken ghoti language. If I went by "Fã de Metallica", however, there would be absolutely no pronunciation ambiguity.
You win the battle, but I'm basically kicking your ass left and right in the war.

I guess you were saying I am of utmost importance. Of course, I figured that already when you were straight-up offended that I appeared as online while retrieving my password from the depths of cleared browser data land while also not immediately coming back after doing that.

Eifie is a japanese neologism and Zhorken, if memory serves me right, is a sound someone made while falling into a trampoline. Neither of those is the aforementioned godforsaken ghoti language of yours where everything has counterintuitive spelling and non-native speakers cease to give a fuck about perfect spelling quickly.

(also, I really need to go to sleep and this is me telling you this so I can definitely force myself to actually do it and not relish in the chance to further display your complete lack of intellect in public while your best comebacks are "I know like one word" and "you spelled like two things wrong")
I haven't run across that one, barring however often Andrew Hussie has done awful puns with it. But while I'm at it, here's an amusing non-latin one: there's a fancy obscure Portuguese word that legal types often use when they're trying to say "of absolute importance". That word happens to be spelled exactly the same as a familiar English word (namely, "mister").

I don't see the matter. What doesn't have a pronounciation ambiguity in that godforsaken ghoti language of yours.
