• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

    The Land Before Time

i love them. i think i've seen up to the seventh film. i don't remember a thing about most of them other than the first, but i'd probably nostalgia trip pretty badly if i watched one of them.

    Your favourite genre of music?

i like everything. if i don't anything of a genre, i probably want it. if nothing else, i have more than a passing interest in hearing it. i like punk rock, new wave, post-punk, dream pop, glam rock (new york dolls, sparks, etc... not glam metal), ambient, and experimental music best, i guess...

What kind of people do you hang out with?

i guess i hang out with more hipster-minded kids..? i don't know. my friends are generally pretty liberal, fashion forward, and have quite distinguished tastes in television, music, film, and art. if you want to talk about something, they generally like to oblige. it's pretty neat.

How did your religious beliefs (or lack of them) come about for you?

i was born into a pretty religious family. my mom is a southern baptist - bible belt, you know - and my dad is catholic. we went to church when i was younger and i even went to catholic school. i moved away from that place when i was 12, and over the course of my middle school years i started...

    Music Discovery Thread

this is just... so presh. i want you. good music i discovered recently... AIR - a french electronic group. they get lopped with daft punk a lot, but that's by no means a good comparison. AIR is very downtempo music compared to daft punk's dance music. they're good for when you want to mellow...

    Epic Christmas Music

"christmas wrapping" - the waitresses. and i forget the name, but there's an epic christmas song by the kinks where they describe how they'll beat santa up if they don't get what they want that totally rules.

    Fashion sense

i do care a bit about my appearance. i've accumulated a ton of stuff from various places over the years (urban outfitters, american apparel, and thrift stores, mostly), and i like to be careful about how i present myself. a ton of people i used to know emphasized their appearance a lot and ended...
