Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

The sunrise over ASB Central is a bit more cheerful as it has been over the previous weeks. The Mafia are down a member, and the innocents are thinking that, maybe, things might be starting to look up again. Their numbers are small, but so are the Mafia's--for good or for ill, the game will be ending soon.

But, while the Mafia may be inured, they're not incapacitated. The gathering at the meeting place reveals that one trainer is missing, and upon realizing who it is the crowd grows uncomfortable. It appears the Mafia are getting revenge on the one who nominated their member to be killed yesterday. Once more, a search is carried out, but no body is ever recovered; in fact, only Walker's head is found, impaled on one of the imposing crenellations over Referee Headquarters in the manner of bad quasi-medieval movies.

Walker is dead. He was not Mafia.

Forty-eight hours to discuss.

Finally! One down, four to go. Let’s see if we can keep this up. Walker, your sacrifice will not be forgotten.

Here’s the list of remaining people:

Catch-22
Grass King
Prettzel
Full Metal Cookies
Chiropter
Bobino
Involuntary Twitch
Animorph
Capitain Jay
Ruieko
NWT

Eeech, we’ve shrunk more than I thought. Crap. We really need to find more Mafia before they outnumber us. Now, yesterday, Walker suggested the following as possible suspects (along with himself and MurrMurr):

Grass King
Prettzel
Full Metal Cookies
Chiropter
Involuntary Twitch
Animorph

So… Aside from being disconcerted about the fact that I’m in that category, I’ve looked over some of the previous days, and it seems as though MurrMurr wasn’t posting much except to make generic comments about how he had no idea. Which a lot of the innocent were doing too, but still… Of those that Walker suggested, we have Grass King and Full Metal Cookies who have not been posting much, if at all; assuming that MurrMurr wasn’t alone in his camouflage strategy, I’d say that one of them could be a fairly good bet. And we’ve got about a 36% chance of getting a Mafia member by random nomination anyway, so… I nominate Grass King.

If anyone else has any suspicions, now would be the time.

Had to happen eventually. :/

The reason that I've been quiet up until now was a) laziness, it's true, and b) suprisingly, people committed to finding the Mafia tend to die first. So look! By not saying anything, I've managed to survive up until the eleventh day before being accused by process of elimination.

But withdraw your vote, Grass King. I'm not Mafia. Seems to me you're just pointing fingers and going for an easy daytime kill... I second Grass King's nomination.

Sorry about that by the way Involuntary Twitch, I was just taking a random stab. I also haven't posted so far as I haven't really had anything to say, and posting just to say that I'm looking at the threads sometimes results in your death. I also had a small wonder how far it would get before anyone would nominate me without me posting.

Personally, I notice that Ruieko and NWT among others, haven't posted as much as Involuntary Twitch. This makes me wonder if Walker was surskitty(r) and didn't add them to the list, because he had already used his power on them. This means that the second list are people that either he didn't have chance to use his power on, or he found out were mafia. I can assure you that I am in the former group.

Personally I doubt that Chiropter could be Mafia, though I'm not sure why. I personally think, that of the bottom list, Prettzel or FMC is Mafia, as FMC hasn't really posted anything useful that I notice (like me up to this point), and Prettzel has already aroused some suspicion from shadow_lugia.

I hope this helps guys.

Therefore, I retract my nomination for Involuntary Twitch.

I nominate Prettzel.

Funny, first you said you were taking a random stab, but then you make an essentially random nomination. Simply because shadow_lugia was suspecting me does not in any way implicate me. Several people have been suspected, and most of them have been proven innocent via death or are still among us.

Also, suspecting somebody because they have made no significant contribution is generally a rather flimsy reason; look what happened with thor165.

The small group of members squabbles a bit as it discusses the situation. They can't afford to blow many more chances of ferreting out the Mafia; the innocents may already be dangerously close to a voting minority.

In the end, Grass King and Prettzel are the ones identified as most suspicious. Further discussion leads, in the end, to Prettzel's condemnation, and the indignant trainer is dragged up to the executioner to meet his fate. The job is swift and clean as only, but only a disappointed sigh follows the unfortunate trainer's decapitation--once again, it looks as though the innocents have lost out.

Prettzel is dead. He was not Mafia.

Forty-eight hours for night actions.
