• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Attacks and Abilities Guide

So was I. And then if it isn't blocked, then whether (as I assume) a non-damaging attack called by it fails.

Just to make it absolutely clear.

Taunt blocks metronome. Good news for anyone who rolls that up in a metronome match, I suppose.

Edit:

Quick question. Does Uproar cause damage to Ghost types or are they unaffected?
Uproar does not damage ghost types. It does wake them up, though, and prevent them from going to sleep for as long as it lasts.

Generally I wait one action before the pokémon starts to struggle, but it would be fine to have them always struggle instead.

Natural Gift as used by a Pokémon with a non-damage dealing signature move causes no damage. Is it still treated as an offensive, physical move?

do the sig-dependent natural gifts also never miss?

also, the anchor next to nature power.
No, they have base 100% accuracy like most attacks but are affected by evasion and accuracy modifiers and so on.

No, it's considered a non-damaging distance attack, same as disable or trick. It's neither special nor physical, offensive but not damaging.

In the revamp, nature power will be changed to work much more closely to the way that it does in the games, so enjoy your never-miss normal attack while you still can

So, would Taunt stop it?

Some people don't have them fade. I usually go with three rounds or so, unless I don't think they should fade/feel they ought to expire earlier.

I recall seeing a contest appeal that started with an Arcanine entering the stage, surrounded by multiple Will-o-Wisps. Would it be possible to create that many in a single action (say, three or four?) and have them orbit a Pokemon's body for extended periods of time, with or without Psychic manipulation? The Pokemon in question isn't very good with Psychic, though, nor is it a Fire-type, if that makes a difference.

Sounds a bit complex without the use of psychic to help. Will-o-wisp is generally one per action and pretty erratic.

Oh, another Sleep Talk question to make my generator correct: A Smeargle using a Sketched Sleep Talk can call Sketch, yes?
If it has any sketches left, yes.
