I wonder if it'd be worth it to have the doodles be protecting different people?? The fact the full canvas gets unveiled midway through the night means it's plausible the mafia could just like, target anyone not on the final canvas, so ambiguity might be the play? eg. dodge draws protected butterfree and I draw protected so-and-so, so mafia can't risk targeting either.

@Dodge do you just have the one piece tonight? Don't tell me any shape, just if it's one.

I actually have two this time! Why Ephemera, why do you inflict my art upon these innocent souls? Which means I could protect Butterfree AND follow THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE with an Otis reprise (no promises he won't be upright this time, Sideways Otis was a result of the jigsaw puzzle piece being rotated)
Assuming no one wants me to do anything specific with the second one, of course. Please, give the people what they want

I'm almost positive it's just one overall action based on the role PM phrasing. There was also an errata I received during the first day that supports that, which has me raising an eyebrow at... someone, because it seems to me like they might also have been aware of it despite not claiming to have the Doodler role. I need to do an ISO to make sure I'm not just seeing shadows where there aren't any.

is that how you use ISO in a sentence,,,,,,

see that's what I thought too based on mewtini's role PM. but Keldeo said he got mooed at and also a, ahem, mysterious stranger, also broadcast a message to us, and both of those seemed to result from the canvas? I mean... maybe it was allowed because it was hilarious.

I think I'm still on the "unknown cow = ephemera's work" train of thought, because based on last night's action, we know there were only three doodlers alive to submit by Day 2 (missingno?, myself, Dodge), so that other piece from Day 1 has to not be from a player. So the mooing could've been Ephemera's work, detached from the final night action of the canvas itself? I have no idea if that holds water but welpppp

aghh disregard me, Dodge mentioned the same errata in the thread last day phase, re: if a cohesive night action can't be interpreted, a random one'll happen instead, meaning this is information everyone is aware of. consider my eyebrow unraised T^T
