Arena: Hardwood floor

Yeah, there actually isn't anything that special about this arena. The Pokemon battle on a flat expanse of hardwood planks. Somehow, the floor just keeps stretching on; no matter how much you run around, there's nothing but wood, wood, and wood. The planks can't be removed or destroyed in any way because they're just that awesome. They can be set on fire, but when the fire dies or is put out, the wood will regenerate. In other words, a lasting fire can be summoned in this arena. Most fires will fade out in 3 rounds unless actively put out.

[Doomsday]Bidoof(F)
Ability: Simple
Signature Modification: Resistance to Criticism
As a Bidoof, Doomsday is often made fun of and criticized for being what she is. As a result, Doomsday acquired a thick skin, if you will, towards being made fun of. It is nearly impossible to make her angry, and she has an eternally cheerful and optimistic outlook on life.

Effects: Doomsday is always happy and cheerful, no matter what. Whenever she uses Return, it gets a 2% Damage bonus, while Frustration gets a 5% reduction. Taunt and Torment have a 50% chance of not working at all on her, and Swagger doesn't cause an Attack increase. Confusion caused by Flatter has a 75% chance of her hurting herself, however.

Ability: Torrent

[Pipiri] Happiny (F) @Oval Stone
Ability: Serene Grace

[Havoc] Sentret (M)
Ability: Keen Eye

[Rinna] Eevee (F) @Soothe Bell
Ability: Adaptability
Signature Move: Shadows of the Night

Rinna aspires to become an Umbreon, and has trained herself extensively in night combat to assure her skill upon evolution. One of the things she gained as a result of this training was a pact with the 'Shadows of the Night', powerful spirits of dark Pokemon that died. So they gave her a powerful attack; when she is in danger, she can unleash their mighty power in a single burst of dark energy. The burst takes the form of a serpent-like creature that attacks a single target with it's huge jaws, then dissipates. The attack leaves her very tired, and it takes a while to recover from it. The sheer size and frightful appearance of the creature summoned may cause the target to flinch.

Type: Dark / Stat: Special / Base Damage: 10% / Accuracy: 85% / Target: Single Foe / Energy: 8% upon use, 1% per action for the rest of the round, and a round afterward / Duration: One Action
Effects: 30% Flinch Chance, Can only be used if she is under 50% health
Usage Gap: Once Per Battle

[Kate] Glameow (F)
Ability: Own Tempo
Signature Move: Glamour Shot
Glameow are known to hypnotize enemies with their large enchanting eyes, and Kate has perfected this ability. She looks her foe in the eyes, and sends them a mental signal that convinces them that they are the most beautiful creature in existence. If the suggestion is successful, the foe is completely in love with themselves, and will take every opportunity to groom, preen, strut, or just stare in awe at their own refection. This may cause them to ignore orders. The move will fail if the foe has no eyes, or cannot see due to darkness or other obstructions. It will also fail if the foe’s ability is Oblivious.

Psychic / 90% Accuracy / -- Damage /Energy: 5%/ Other / Effect: causes the foe to become attracted to themselves / Usage Gap: 2 rounds for the end of effects

[Philharmonic] Chatot (M)
Ability: Tangled Feet
Signature Move: Tone-Deaf

Chatot memorize words and phrases quite well, and Philharmonic is no exception. In fact, most of his kind are quite good at using sound to battle. But Philharmonic has developed a way to play with sound that no other of his kind can. He's very familiar with pitch and melody, able to string words he knows together with a soothing melody and appropriate pitch to make a song. But he can make more than just sweet and simple songs.

First, he recalls as many of the sounds he's heard in his life as he can and regurgitates them backwards with a random volume and pitch, fluctuating from soft and sweet to loud and off-key. This screaming deafens all who hear it, and confusing all those in range to hear it by making them fly into a frenzy at the offending sound, and the exertion of blasting so much noise confuses Philharmonic out of fatigue. Those who hear the sound are Deafened for three actions, and cannot hear anything but a ringing in their ears for the duration. Pokemon with more sensitive ears may run and hide from the sound.

A Deafened Pokemon cannot hear very well, so sound-biased attacks won't have any effect of the Pokemon. It will be slightly easier to sneak up on them as well, as they wouldn't hear their attacker coming.

Flying Type / Special / 95% Accuracy / 5% Damage / Energy: 8% / Deafens and confuses targets; confuses Phil / Target: All but User / Duration: One Action / Usage Gap: Three Rounds from end of effects

Signature Attribute: Conductor's Baton

Philharmonic was born with an oddly long tail - almost a foot long, nearly as long as he is tall! He was made fun of by his siblings for the abnormal body part, but he pressed on.

As he started the battle, he learned that when he flicked his tail back and forth as chatot often do, his foes would be distracted by it. So be trained very hard with it, and now the tail constantly flicks back and forth in a distracting rhythm. The constant ticking will sometimes attract the attention of something attacking Philharmonic, and will miss or just not attack at all. he can even speed up the flicking to catch other Pokemon's attention even more, but it needs some effort, unlike the normal speed.

Effects: 5% additional chance that a Pokemon attacking Philharmonic will miss. If he speeds up the tail, it ups to a 10% chance, but Philharmonic takes 2% energy for each action it's sped up.

[L'Arc-En-Ciel] Togekiss (M)
Dragon/Flying
-Baton Pass, Last Resort
+Dragon Rush, Dragon Pulse, Dragon Dance, Twister, Dragonbreath
Ability: Serene Grace
Sig Move: Arc of Joyous Colours

Togekiss are known to congregate where there is joy and happiness, and L’Arc~En~Ciel likes to spread the joy and happiness he has seen with the world! So he gathers up all the happy thoughts he can and lets them burst forth in a concentrated energy form, resembling a beam of light in rainbow colours. The blast is so bright in colour that it’ll light up any nearby darkness, and has a chance to confuse the foe with its bright light and colour.

The move will fail if L’Arc~En~Ciel is feeling depressed or angry, and the confusion effect won’t happen if the foe has no eyes or is blinded by sand, ect.

Normal Type / Special / 95% Accuracy / 10% Damage / Energy: 7% / 20% Chance to confuse foe / Target: Single / Duration: One Action / Usage Gap: Three Rounds

[Edward] Persian (M)
Ability: Technician
Signature Attribute: Right Arm of Steel

Edward's previous owner was none too kind to him. He was pushed to win by any means necessary by the cruel man, and when he couldn't, he had replaced Edward's right arm with a Stainless Steel replica in a rather painful operation. Such prosthetics, usually to replace limbs lost in accidents, tend to double as weaponry. The arm is, since it is made of steel, is very strong, and the arm's claws are very sharp. However, it is heavy.

Effects: The weight of the arm gives Edward a permanent -1 to his speed, while the sheer power gives a +1 to physical attacks made with the arm. The base, where the steel connects to his shoulder, is very sensitive, so all moves that land there gain a %2 damage bonus. If he blocks an attack with his arm, he takes %2 less damage. The weight of the arm makes it almost impossible to swim, so if he is placed in water, he'll sink.

Signature Move: Bloodstained Hurricane

In his younger days, Edward was gifted with something called 'The Dragon's Blood', which grated him greater skill with manipulating his own blood as a weapon, and thus this attack was born.

To use it, Edward gathers all the health he is missing and channels it into the Dragon's Blood that rushes though his veins. The blood takes on the form of hundreds of tiny razor-sharp blades of blood that he then sends to the target. The more health he has missing, the more it does, as there is more blood able to reach the target. If he does not have any open wounds at the time, he will inflict an open wound on himself with his own claws, dealing 3% damage. (the damage he inflicts on himself does not count towards the attack's damage inflicted on the enemy)

Edward can even sustain the attack at the cost of some of his own health and energy. When sustained, the attack takes the form of a good-sized dragon-like creature that then latches onto the target, sapping their health.

When the effects of the attack linger, Edward becomes more aggressive, so his attack rises slightly.

Type: Normal / Stat: ATK / Base Damage: Varies / Accuracy: 95% / Target: Single Target / Energy: Varies / Duration: Main Attack 1 action, sustain minor until dropped
Effects: Damage dealt is half the health he is missing, rounded up, and Energy is half that. If sustained, the attack inflicts 3% Damage/Action and Edward takes 1% Damage & Energy per action sustained. He gains +1 ATK only for as long as the attack is sustained.
Usage Gap: 5 rounds after the attack ends

Wow, didn't expect it to be taken that quick. Anyway.

Fubuki, nyas~ Gogogo!

Let's start with a Substitute to prevent any shenanigans, 10% if you will. Then, Icy Wind spam! If Rinna Protects, gimme a Spite. If she Double Teams, well, try to spread out the Icy Wind to hit as many clones as you can. And finally, if you fall asleep on any action due to Yawn, just Sleep Talk.

Okay Rinna, let's get this done quick, easy peasy lemon squeezy!

Start the round off with a Growth (yay for Pokecentre moves), then throw out a Natural Gift and a Shadow Ball, for variety. The Natural Girft should take care of that there sub, hehe.

About three hundred miles away from anywhere, in the middle of.. somewhere, is a flat, long, expanse of hardwood flooring. It seems that it must be the end of summer, as the air is warm enough for a Pokemon battle, and not too cold.

Though some would argue any time is the right time for a Pokemon battle.

It seems this field of hardwood planking hasn't seen much life, though today, it will wish it had never known Pokemon battles. A few feet in the air above the actual floor seems to be a dimensional hole or something epic like that, though a few seconds pass and it closes, and with a pop and bang of displaced air, the referee appears where the hole in the air was a moment before. She falls to the ground, swearing under her breath, and looking around. It's a quiet place, it seems.. While waiting for the Trainers and their Pokemon to arrive, the referee pulls out a can of spray paint and debates over whether to spray paint a Pokeball on the ground or not. She twitches as blazheirio889 appears in front of her, and nods as they both take positions over a patch of ground that'll serve as the battlefield, and wait for FMC.. There she is. In the distance, FMC waves to the referee and her fellow Trainer. It seems someone made a calculation mistake in getting here.

Once everyone is settled and ready, the referee waves one of the flags she has brought, and the Trainers each take a moment to choose a Pokemon, before throwing their Pokeballs to the planks and looking curiously at their opponent's choice. On FMC's side, the red light from her Pokeball has twisted and shaped itself into a silver, quadruped Pokemon, a shiny Eevee called Rinna, who flicks her long ears and tail at her Trainer and turns to her opponent in eager anticipation. On blazheirio889's side, a simpler, geometric shape has formed from the red light. An yellow cone with black fingerless hands and feet has formed from the light, a Snorunt named Fubuki. The Pokemon stare at each other uncomfortably for a moment, and at the wave of their referee's flags, the Trainers command their Pokemon and they leap forwards!

Or, not so much. Rinna is the first to twitch, breaking the Pokemons' eye contact. With a blink, she looks up at the sky and focuses on herself, before letting out a sharp yelp as she twitches with brief growing pains, and suddenly.. expands. She looks at herself in surprise, not expecting such odd results. Every part of her seems to be a bit bigger..

Fubuki eyes her new, somewhat larger opponent oddly, and starts to spin and twirl in a manic dance. It's not important right now, until Rinna starts to attack, she's not affected by it.. Rinna watches in mild amusement as her opponent spins and spins on, and suddenly, there's two Fubukis! Grabbing the Substitute's hand, Fubuki spins it around in a circle, and disappears into thin air. Rinna rears in slight shock, before moving forwards a step to investigate the Snorunt-like construct that is gaining colour and detail as she looks on.. and finally blinks and waves at her. How odd.

Pushing the thought out of her mind, Rinna calls up the essence that is her, and focuses it into the physical plane in the shape of a small purple orb of light, floating in the air beside her. She frowns. It's pretty small, and won't do for what she has planned.. Focusing again on the orb, Rinna wills it to grow, and grow it does, becoming around the size of her head, before bobbing forwards and extending into a beam of purple light, emptying the energy it carries into Fubuki's Substitute. In her safe spot, Fubuki yelps slightly, watching her Substitute take a full shot of energy head on... And survive, even just barely. She lets out an unheard sigh from behind the referee, and leaps in front of her Substitute.

Rinna, taken by surprise by the sudden appearance of Fubuki can do nothing as the Snorunt opens her mouth and exhales a cold, freezing gust. Rinna involuntarily fluffs her fur up to keep herself warm, and as her fur rises, the wind dies down and Fubuki is gone, disappeared to her safe spot in the blink of an eye. Rinna casts her glance around, and her fur drops as she looks to the Substitute, waiting for some heat to come back to her before she moves-

Too late! In what seems to be the blink of an eye, Fubuki appears again in front of Rinna, and the cold breeze starts up again. Rinna growls as she feels herself become colder, and when it feels too much to bear, the wind stops and Fubuki is gone once more, to her spot behind the referee. Rinna growls again, louder this time. It was not cool that she just attacked her while she was still getting ready. Not cool. Though she might attack herself, if she had the chance..

With a yelp, Rinna points her snout to the sky, and then at Fubuki's Substitute, which is quickly falling apart.. and a small spark of energy jumps from her into the air. Oddly, the spark doesn't seem to be fading, but instead, pulses a dark, odd purple, and begins to grow, gathering energy from the air around Rinna and itself. The orb of light, for that's what it's become, bobs up and down for a moment, before seeming to turn around and shooting into the Substitute's side. Fubuki fidgets for a moment, before she is thrown onto the flooring again, in front of her pile of splinters and the hole in the ground. It seems she has invoked the wrath of Rinna, as the Eevee glares daggers at the Snorunt. If looks could kill..

This battle will be proceeding at a mile a moment, it seems. Waving her flags, the referee gives the Trainers the all-clear, and not hesitating, they command their Pokemon. Without any further ado, the referee once again slashes her flags through the air, and they're off!

Fubuki, taking advantage of her opponent's lethargy, shivers under her glare for a moment, and draws her hands in closer to her mouth. Taking a few deep breaths, Fubuki draws a thin red veil of aura around her and waits. Rinna tilts her head and inspects the Snorunt from where she stands; she seems so deep in concentration that she'd be able to walk up to her and push her over.. and she grins. Fubuki is leaving herself open to attack, then, it seems.

As before, a spark leaps from Rinna, into the air, and pulses a dark purple. Rinna frowns and focuses her energy into it, willing it to grow.. and attack. The orb of dark light pulses once more in response to her thoughts, and starts to grow.. Rinna frowns for a second, willing it to speed up.. Though, there doesn't seem to be any rush. Fubuki isn't going anywhere, clearly.. To her satisfaction, the ball of energy has reached the right size, and Rinna smiles a moment, and directs her thoughts towards the apparently comatose Snorunt. With a cry, the Shadow Ball races forwards and into Fubuki's face, knocking her back a few inches on the flooring. Fubuki is completely silent, though the aura around her flashes bright red for a brief moment.

Fubuki feels the sting of the ghostly energy, however. Her deep concentration refuses to let her speak, or even move too much. She just has to keep it up a bit longer.. Fubuki begins to tremble with the effort of holding in the energy absorbed by the aura around her, and thinks of happy things.. like marshmallows! Yes! For whatever reason, the skin on her forehead is burnt-looking, likely from the energy that has partially eaten at her skin. Fubuki can't even wince. What dedication.

Rinna lets out a little laugh at the Snorunt. She's loosed a great ball of energy in her face, and she does nothing but stand there? Well, she can probably get a hit or two in while Fubuki stands there, then. A chance is a chance. And besides, there's not much thinking to her commands; attack, attack and attack, it is! Once again calling up her own essence, Rinna focuses an orb of her essence into the world, and watches it change colour from white to purple. Cool. Pumping energy into the orb with her mind, the shiny Eevee causes the orb to hover in front of her.. and explode, once again into Fubuki's face, in the shape of a powerful beam of energy.

Fubuki winces in her mind, still holding in the energy. If it was hard before, now, it's almost impossible to hold the extra power the aura has absorbed. She flashes bright red once more, and with a sigh, releases the energy that has been stored, and has grown, in a wave of red energy. Rinna cries out in shock as she is knocked head over heels and lands with a plop on her side, a few feet away from where she stood before. Wincing as she looks over her wounds, the Eevee stands up a bit cautiously, and glares once more at Fubuki. That wasn't fair! Fubuki finds herself with a huge smile on her face, obviously very pleased with herself.

Rinna slashes her tail through the air, very unhappy. Well, it was time to get serious, it seemed. Focusing her mind on her tail, this time, she watches as her tail starts to glow a bright, pure white, and dashes towards Fubuki. Fubuki, still smiling in triumph, is taken aback as Rinna's tail, which is now as hard as.. well, iron, slams into the side of her head and knocks her down. Fubuki lets the cry she's been holding in for the last while out, and Rinna grins smugly as the glow fades from her tail. That's what she got, for messing with her!

Though wounded, Fubuki gets to her feet and shakes herself off a bit. Her body seems to have cracked a bit from the blow, but still, her attack had taken its toll on the Eevee. Both battling Pokemon take deep breaths, before turning to their Trainers in anticipation for their next commands.

Pah, sorry about my little disappearance. Turns out we had to head to Niagra for some time, but here I am now.

Anyway, I think we've got this. First throw up a Light Screen. Then, scatter some Spikes around Rinna. Try to make it so that they surround her, and she'll have a hard time moving around. Finally, gimme a nice Ice Beam. Aim for her paws, to try to freeze her to the spot. If she has clones when you're supposed to use Spikes, use Hail instead and move Spikes to the next action. Finally, use Spite if she Protects the Ice Beam.

Light Screen ~ Spikes/Hail ~ Ice Beam/Spikes/Spite

Okay babygirl, we can handle this mess, no problem; make yourself a 10% Substitute first off, and try and stay separate from it; hopefully she'll toss the spikes at the wrong Eevee. Next, use Iron Tail, being careful to avoid the spikes. Stay behind her at all times so she doesn't get a chance to hit you with Ice Beam, and use Iron Tail again. If she falls over, try and pin her down, as well, so she can't move.

Hesitating only to take a few breaths, the referee waves at the Trainers once more, and they command their Pokemon with gusto. Slashing a flag through the air, the referee now commands the Pokemon to continue, and they oblige.

Fubuki once again takes advantage of Rinna's lethargy, and moves first once more! With a wave of her fingerless hands, Fubuki begins to trail sparks in the air, odd yellow sparks that seem to hover where they are.. Rinna does her best not to think too much of the sparks, and watches as the pinpricks of light start to clump together, and finally, become a translucent wall of light. Rinna flicks an ear at her opponent lazily. Amusing, but what was that going to do?

Well, it seemed Fubuki wasn't going to rip at her throat, or try to claw her ears off or something. That was fine with Rinna. If she wasn't going to copy the Eevee, then the Eevee would copy her, yes! Rinna closes her eyes for a moment, and as she opens them, focuses the energy inside of her into the air beside her. Calling up an image of herself, she shapes the light that has appeared beside her into a four-legged shape, with a fluffy tail and long ears.. Before she's done, it becomes quite obvious that this quickly shaping form of light is Rinna's exact duplicate. Nodding, Rinna puts the final touch on her Substitute, and that is.. colour. The Substitute takes on a silvery hue and opens its eyes, as the real Rinna disappears with the bang and pop of displaced air.

Fubuki kicks at the hardwood flooring. This was a bit confusing.. Her Trainer had commanded her to use Hail if her opponent had clones, and this construct seemed enough of a clone to her, she had seen Rinna disappear.. or was this the real Rinna? Shaking her head, Fubuki decided she might as well go with the safe option and spike-ify the ground. Reaching into the air, Fubuki appears to pull handfuls of caltrops out of the sky, and throws them towards Rinna or the Substitute. Of course, every single one of the caltrops land spike-up, and the Substitute looks around itself nervously. Fubuki takes one more caltrop from the sky and tosses it forwards, looking over her work with a slight smug grin.

Rinna smirks from her safe spot behind the referee. Sure, her Substitute is surrounded by spikes and she will be as well once she reappears on the field, but for now, she has the upper hand in surprise.

Or slight surprise, at least. Rinna blinks and finds herself in the middle of the Spikes beside her Substitute, and looks for a clear path to Fubuki.. a paw there, a careful step here, and OUCH! Despite all her best efforts, it seems Rinna has still stepped on a caltrop. Ouch. Waving her injured front paw in the air, Rinna hops and limps her way to Fubuki, who is still in slight shock at her appearance. Taking the opportunity, Rinna focuses the image of metal into her tail, which begins to glow a pure, bright white.. and with a yelp, the shiny Eevee spins and slams her tail into Fubuki. Fubuki lets out a long wail as she is knocked to the ground, and Rinna seems to come up from behind her to pin her to the ground.

Fubuki looks around nervously, though being pinned face down to the floor, she can't see much except for rows of polished, dark brown hardwood flooring planks.. and the silver paws of someone, further ahead behind some spikes sticking into the sky, it appears to Fubuki. Calling up the memory of the frigid temperature in her birthplace, Fubuki manages to free a single hand and stretch it towards the paws ahead of her. A mist forms around her paw-hand, and an orb of blue-white light pulses to life in her palm. Aiming it towards the bit of paws in her sight, Fubuki wills the orb forwards, and it stretches into a long, thin shot of white and blue light. The paws leap up, though as the beam approaches the paws land once more and are frozen to the spot momentarily. The next moment, the paws are gone, leaving a jagged chunk of ice with paw prints in the center. On top of Fubuki, Rinna winces. Her Substitute was gone.. and that could've been her.

The shiny Eevee once more concentrates on the familiar texture of metal, sending the image and feeling to her tail. Unseen to the two, Rinna's tail begins to glow a bright white, and she jumps off of Fubuki to get a nice clean shot at her. Passing through the screen of light for a moment, Rinna spin around and brings her tail down hard on the Snorunt. She is knocked back as she tries to stand up, and wails as the silver Eevee disappears and reappears with a bang and pop across from her, in the Spikes. That is it. She's been playing easy for now, keeping it safe and doing the most she can.. but now, she's playing hard. Glaring hard at the silver Eevee across from her, Fubuki gives it an icy look and turns to her Trainer almost angrily.

Okay baby girl >:3 oh would you look at that! 44% health, you say? Why, that's under 50! This calls for some fun. Start off with Fake Tears. She's such a mean little Snorunt, why don't you make her feel bad about spiking you. Then, unleash the darkness within with your Shadows Of The Night! Finish off with a Shadow Ball. Be careful not to move too much, but you won't have to. If she protects/detects, then shuffle the orders to the next action, or use Growth is it's first action.

Time to get creative!

Well, Fake Tears, you say? ...Tears. Water. Mwahaha. As far as I can tell, Rinna's not going to move much this round, so go up to her and aim an Ice Beam at her face. The tears should give some assistance in freezing her face up, so she can't perform Fake Tears. Even if she manages to execute the attack, why will you feel sorry for her? >=o You wanna evolve, dontcha? BEAT HER TO A PULP *coughhack*

Okay. Shadows of the Night and Shadow Ball are both non-stabbed attacks, not to mention they're both special and you still have your trusty Light Screen. So, grit your teeth and take those attacks like a man! Retaliate with two Water Pulses - hopefully the force of the attacks will knock her onto the Spikes, and confuse her too. However, if she's confused by the first Water Pulse, blast her with another Ice Beam and hope that one freezes her, too.

The referee slashes her flags through the air, listening none too carefully to the Trainer's commands. Rather lazily, she waves them again, and not hesitating for a moment, the Pokemon are once again on the move!

Fubuki looks back at her Trainer with a nod, and hesitates for a moment. Walk up to Rinna..? There were spikes around the stupid Eevee, how- muttering to herself, Fubuki realizes her Trainer meant to move as close as she could, and would've facepalmed if she could. Taking a few cautious steps towards the shiny Eevee, Fubuki looks up at her opponent for a moment.

A mistake, it seems. Catching the Snorunt's eye, Rinna whimpers and paws at the ground for added effect and bursts into tears, rubbing at her eyes with her other paw. She wails loudly and looks at Fubuki through tear-glazed eyes, all the while extending an unseen tendril of energy towards the Snorunt and messing with her emotions. Fubuki gasps, now a bit unsure of her opponent's motives. Was.. she really crying? Did she actually hurt that much, did the Snorunt go overboard..? Wincing for an unknown reason, Fubuki looks down in shame. Rinna turns away, trying to hide the fact that she's now shaking with mirth. Stupid, stupid Snorunt, she thinks, and wipes her tears on the ground.

The wall of light floats forwards in front of Fubuki, as to shield her from any sudden attacks Rinna might try. After all, she may be crying but a battle is still a battle, and you always have to be on your guard. Wincing as Rinna turns towards her with tear-stained fur, Fubuki takes aim at her face and calls forwards the memory of her birthplace, the cold, cold reaches of an icy land.. A white-blue orb of energy takes shape in front of the Snorunt, and she looks carefully at her opponent. Extending a fingerless hand, Fubuki urges the orb forwards and it obeys, stretching into a thin, concentrated beam of icy energy. Rinna yelps as the energy attaches itself to her face, and she screeches, trying to get the few chunks of ice off of her forehead and cheeks. Luckily for her Trainer, no energy has seeped into her eyes, which may have caused some serious damage. The referee chuckles and whispers "Boom, headshot," earning a glare from FMC.

That is the last damn straw, Rinna thinks, sending burning thoughts towards her opponent, who, like the referee, was very amused with her latest attack. Stupid Snorunt.. growling under her breath, Rinna closes her eyes and dives deep into her stores of power. A faint aura of various dark colours begin to swirl around the Eevee, and quickly becomes more pronounced, taking on the form of a thick, twisting thing curled around her.. Rinna opens her eyes, and barks something unintelligible at her opponent. The aura leaps forwards, taking on the shape of a snake-like creature with gaping jaws. Fubuki yelps and takes two involuntary steps backwards. She's safe behind the Light Screen, she's safe behind the Light Screen.. while the serpent struggles momentarily to pass through the bright yellow shield, it still forces its way through and sets itself upon Fubuki, tearing and slashing at the poor thing, and suddenly, it disappates. Fubuki shivers for a moment, looking at Rinna with newfound respect. The silver little Eevee surely didn't just call up that..?

As Fubuki hesitates, still in awe of that thing, Rinna takes her chance and flicks her tail as a spark leaps off of her, into the air. The move is familiar to her now, and with a pulse of her power, it steadily grows in size and takes on a dark purple hue, until it's only a bit smaller than her head. Nudging the orb towards her opponent with her mind, Rinna forces it through the barrier of light and into Fubuki's face. The Snorunt leaps up in surprise and pain, completely caught off guard by the blow. It seems Rinna has gotten double payback; once for the time Fubuki attacked her when she wasn't ready, and one for the headshot. With a smug grin, Rinna glares at her opponent, panting with the effort of both her attacks. Ha.

Fubuki shakes her head, a bit winded by Rinna's blows. It was time to fight back.. but with what? She was commanded to use Water Pulse, though there.. didn't seem to be any way to actually get some water.. With a dejected sigh, Fubuki plops down and looks up at the sky. What was she supposed to do?

Rinna tilts her head at her opponent and smiles. Fubuki hadn't rushed at her and tried to rip her apart, or something like that, so it seemed she wasn't going to do anything! Laughing loudly, the Eevee wags her tail playfully and turns to her Trainer, completely pleased with herself.

Terrain Notes
- Spikes surround Rinna.

Referee Notes
-Fubuki flinched on the second action.
-Water Pulse failed since there was no water to use.
-blazheirio889 attacks first next round.

Water Pulse is generally considered one of those attacks that uses an internal water source, not an external one like Surf. So unless you'd also require, say, a Seviper to have an external fire source to use Flamethrower, Fubuki probably should've been able to pull that off.
