Perhaps you’ve heard stories about the Greek gods and goddesses. You know, Zeus, Hera, Demeter, Hestia, Poseidon, and Hades, as well as their children; Apollo, Artemis, Athena, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Hermes, Ares, and Dionysus. You may have heard them, but you probably thought, “Oh, they’re just stories. They can’t actually be real.”

And that’s where you’re wrong. They are real.

And you’re caught right in the middle.

Sometimes, the gods will find a mortal – that is, a human – that they like very much. And, lo and behold, a child comes into being. The child often has ADHD, keeping him/her on his toes for battle, and dyslexia, since his/her mind is hardwired to read Ancient Greek – in addition to several attributes from their godly parent. Sounds cool, right?

Far from it.

From the point you find out that you’re a demi-god, usually around the age of twelve, monsters can easily tell, and they’ll hunt you down. The only safe place to go is Camp Half-Blood, located on Long Island. Once there, you can easily train, go on quests, and learn how to keep yourself from getting killed.

What will you do after you get to Camp Half-Blood?

~No godmoding or powerplaying. Please.
~Following the above rule, I'm sorry to say that you cannot be a kid of Zeus, Poseidon, or Hades. Besides being totally forbidden by all the gods, they're just way too powerful.
~Oh, and some gods have taken vows of chastity or are completely devoted to their godly husband/wife and, thus, will not be having halfbloods anytime soon.
~If you decide to be fathered/mothered by a "lesser" god, you'll be plopped right into Hermes's cabin.
~If you didn't catch that, you'll be sorted into cabins depending on your godly parent. You most likely will be plopped into Hermes until your godly parent claims you.
~Mary-sues will be stabbed and killed. Please.
~Dragon is my co-owner and is absolutely awesome. Obey her too.

Personality: Vai doesn't care about what people think about her. Like most children of Hermes, she steals stuff. Watch your valuables. Vai is good natured, but rather cynical. The word 'smirk' comes to mind.
Other: Has a pair of 'shapeshifting daggers' that can be any sort of dagger, or small item. Woo co-owner~

Appearance: Adonis is of mid build and stands 6'. He has blue silver hair that is spiked up in front like a cone. He has red eyes that almost seem to glow when he has an adrenaline rush. He usually wears passive clothing, but always has his long cloak his mother gave to him when he was 6. (It's supposed to fit him now too)
Personality: He is quiet, but very smart, of course. He is a bit arrogant when it comes to answering questions, and thinks anyone who isn't an Athenian child is stupid and ignorant. He is a bit of a hothead, but is a force to be reckoned with
Weapon: Olive wood staff, used as both a channeling for powers and as hard as steel to function as a sword

Appearence-Well, Reitsu is your average teen. Japanese-American, short black hair, you get the point. Like Annabeth, Reitsu has not only owl earrings, but an owl necklace too. T-shirts, for the most part. And jeans.
Personality- Reitsu can be very unpredictable. She seems a bit lonely, and is truly nice deep inside. Like Adonis, she is quiet, and hardly speaks much unless absolutely needed, but she is quick-mouthed and can easily stall around for time, and she is luckily fast and agile.
Other- EDIT: Yay! Magical items! Has a watch that turns into a shield, sorta like Percy's. I can't think of a name, someone do it for me! Please?

Appearance: Travis is of average build, and is rather tall. He has reddish-brown hair he chooses to wear a little longer than his mother would like, and has hazel eyes.
Personality: Travis is open and friendly, and not to mention talktative. He, despite his ADHD and reading disability, he has remained a good student. The only people he hates are idiots by choice, the lazy people who attempt to copy down his work. Other than that, nothing really bothers him, and he will often start long, entertaining conversations.
Other: Travis inheritted his father's skill with a bow, to his glee. He also has a habit of carrying around a notebook, and writing down small poems or drabbles or ideas that come to him, as he wants to be an author some day.

*Could we possibly have a magical item, such as Annabeth's cap, or Clarisses spear, or Percy's sword? As long as it isn't too powerful?*

Appearance: Because they're half-sisters, Acacia looks somewhat like Flora. She has short brown hair (always in two very short french braids tied off with rubber bands) and bright green eyes. She has a lot of freckles and is very petite (AKA short), looking very pixie-ish overall, something like the stereotypical fairy. She likes wearing thick, too-big hiking boots, sweatpants and a green sweatshirt. She in always wearing a jade pendant carved in the shape of a leaf on a leather cord around her neck.
Personality: Given who her mother is, Acacia loves gardening and plants. Like all half-bloods, she has ADD and dyslexia. Because of that, aside from being way too energetic, she is very easily distracted. The only times when she's paying complete attention to much of anything is when she's working in a garden or hiking. She isn't very aggressive by nature and is almost always the peacemaker, preferring to talk things over rather than fight. She has a habit of just yelling out whatever's on her mind; from "meow" to "moo" to, well, anything. This goes between funny and irritating quite a lot.
Other: Acacia's a hippie. Sorta. Dang hippies. xD

Halfblood: Yes.
Parent: Aphrodite
Appearance: With long eyelashes and shining blond hair, Suzume is a dream. She usually wears a pink skirt that is...a little too revealing, and another pink shirt that cuts so low that it barely covers her breasts. She usually has make-up matched perfectly to bring out her features. But despite that and the fact that most guys would drool over her, she usually has a guarded face.
Personality: She loves to flirt with the boys of course, but has always managed to get on the enemy list of every girl. She always wants to be the center of attention, which is easily done. She can seem very cruel to ther girls, but, underneath it all, she is a very broken child. She is scared and insecure despite her commanding exterior, and terrified of the monsters that have been folowing her since she was twelve. She is afraid of sharing a cabin: she usually cries from fear at night, and wouldn't want to be heard. She is seriously dislexic, and sometimes she can't read at all. She also has trouble seeing, and can be seen squinting quite often. She refuses to get glasses, though. She is loud and can't stand being unheard.
Other: Hopefully I gave her enough defaults for her not to be a Mary-sue, because, well, Aphrodite is the goddess of love, right? I'm walking a thin line. If I did cross that line, tell me and I'll make a new character.

Appearance: Alphonse has cut-short black hair and dark-green eyes. He wears a red shirt under a black leather jacket, and dark blue jeans. His face often shows harshness, suspicion or aggressiveness.

Personality: Alphonse is a hot-headed, straight-to-action student, the "act first, think later" kind. Being son of the god of war, he has a tendency to fight unarmed and with all kinds of weapons, and rarely fears anything, not even the monsters after him. The thing people most fear in him is his satisfaction on seeing large amounts of blood, and what he'll do to see this desire accomplished. His dyslexia has made him lose interest on most subjects, except History (Alphonse was always interested in war strategies).

Appearance: Short brown hair and green eyes, she is not very pretty, but she couldn't care less about appearance. She wears whatever feels comfortable and practical. She is rather short.
Personality: Shay likes to play practical jokes, and she is usually seen lurking around, waiting for her next victim. She has a good sense of humor, but if you get on her bad side (like many of the Aphrodite cabin tend to) she can think of insults like no other. Shay rarely makes friends, but when she does she will never break their trust (or play practical jokes on them :P).
