Status: Not fainted, but kind of wishing he was. ATK +2, DEF +1, ACC +1, SPEC ATK -1

Though beaten and torn, Smugleaf wasn’t quite ready to give up this fight. Pulling himself to his feet, he focused hard to direct as much energy and blood flow as he could to his tail. Strengthening in stiffness and growing shinier as the skin tightened, Smugleaf’s tail was ready for one more attack. Throwing his tail into Dexter’s head, Smugleaf staggered back after making contact. Dexter was bothered, and ready to make sure he didn’t take another tail to the face. Collecting together the remaining goop, Dexter sent shockwaves through the ever growing mound of toxic goo and soon, Smugleaf had washed up, unconscious.

Status: Staring at the sea of noxious goo, and trying to hold his breath.
Health: 100%

Psycho Cut~Psycho Cut~Psycho Cut
NinJAD was a little unnerved. The lakes of goop showed serious signs of the damage done the previous round. Not to be completely deterred though, NinJAD moved into to do his part in battle. As he ran towards Dexter, NinJAD began charging the blades he had for hands with psychic energy. Right as they started glowing a bright sheen, NinJAD swiftly sliced into Dexter, the energy adding extra impact to the blow. Dexter wobbled a little, his googly-eyed expression making him look as if he might puke. To NinJAD’s surprise, that’s sort of what he did. When Dexter did open his mouth, fire instead of poison flowed out in a long stream, knocking NinJAD back into the grime. Dexter burped out the remaining smoke, while NinJAD tried to pat out the remain flames on his person.
The rest of the round was much of the same, with both Pokemon exchanging blows back and forth. NinJAD continued to hack away with his psychic empowered claws, and Dexter proceeded in spouting fire at NinJAD’s slightly melted figure. Both were flawless in their execution, and both were feeling the impact of the other’s attacks. When the dust had cleared, trees were burning around them, Dexter had claw marks all down his side and NinJAD was noticing a rather severe tender spot on his body inflicted by the flames.

Still trying to deal with his side wounds, Dexter wasn’t ready to take another attack like he had been. It took only a little observation to notice that NinJAD was already preparing another Psycho Blade attack, and this time Dexter would be ready. Not detecting anything out of the ordinary, NinJAD charged Dexter, aiming his claws right between his eyes. A sudden collision stopped NinJAD in his tracks, and threw him backward with the recoil of his own attack. Dexter grinned at the sight of his successful invisible shield, but it wasn’t long after he had dropped the defense that NinJAD was at his throat once more.
Leaping right back onto Dexter with his claws still charged up, NinJAD began to hack away, leaving Dexter to shield his face as best as he could. Winding up for an attack of his own, Dexter reeled back as far as he could with his fist and recklessly threw it in NinJAD’s direction. NinJAD was too quick however, and had already moved away while Dexter slammed his hand into the ground. While he was down, NinJAD used this opportunity to leap onto his back and deliver a few more blows with his psychically-charged claws. Dexter winced at the pain, and stopped to catch his breath. When he exhaled, NinJAD was met with a flowing stream of flame instead of air, and now it was his turn to get defensive. NinJAD took the blow with as much perseverance as he could, and fell to one knee as the burns on his body took their toll.
