"I know there are zombies. I'm trying to revert them to their original state. Here take this. It will make you immune to them. And let's go check that candy shop, I think there might be someone in there, I saw some movement earilier"
 
"Well, you asked what was happening. Lets go!"
Wonder how he knows. Getting bitten on purpose to test? Ugh. Mad scientist alert! Whoo!
Ann was surprise that there weren't any zombies that nearby. Without waiting for Mr. Mad Scientist (Whatever his name was) she dashed away. There were a couple of the zombies close by, which she took care of easily. Ann opened the door to each building, shouting, "Anyone here?"
After waiting about a minute each time, she went to the candy shop. Realizing the door was being held shut with a gumball machine when she attempted to go in, she knocked on the door loudly, motioning to Whats-his-name. She peered inside the window, not seeing anyone. Maybe they were hiding, and Ann thought she might have heard someone crying.
I could probably just open the door anyway, but I'll give them a chance so they don't freak out. Gotta mean someone's in there if the doors being held shut, right? And I can hear them. This is good! People!
she thought eagerly. In the most reassuring voice she could manage, Ann said loud enough (hopefully) for the person inside to hear,
"Hey, is anyone in here? Open the door, there's two humans here! It's okay, you're safe now!"

Lili heard the phone ring, wiped the snot running from her nose and peered over the counter again. She then lunged for the phone, only two feet away from a box of Hershey chocolate bars. The girl prayed the undead outside didn't hear it.
"H-hello?" She asked, voice cracking and shaky. A small mirror was mounted on the wall, so Lili looked at herself. Her face was red and wet, glittering trails from where the tears had slid down her cheeks were showing. The mess of red hair was sticking everywhere, tangled and in clumps from being stressed out.
Her head snapped towards the door at the voices. Thank, God. I promise I'll never steal candy from this store again!
"I'm in here! I'm coming!" She yelled, back to crying. This time, she was sobbing in relief. Lili ran over to the door, still with the phone in hand, and started to push the gumball machine aside so that the two survivors could get inside.
 
"Hey, Hello? Is anyone in here? We are humans. There was a massive outbreak of some kind of virus, and some of us haven't been infected. I don't know why, but I am a scientist who has a lab that is completely sterile. If you can hear me, we're here to help." Dr. Cromwell was going to wait for a minute, then bust in the door. He heard the phone ring, but wanted whoever was in there to be as calm as possible.
 
Lili blinked as the man burst open the door. He was a scientist? Interesting, but questions would have to come later. She grabbed the arm of the girl with him and pulled her inside the store, then slammed the door shut and proceeded to push the machine back in front of it.
"Hello?" She asked into the phone, still holding it. Then, turning to the two uneffected humans, she said, "I've been here for hours waiting for help to come, thank you so much."
 
Lili pressed the phone closer towards her ear, pressing a button. She quickly checked to see if she had ended her call, and was relieved again to see they were still connected.
"Go out there?" Lili raised an eyebrow, pushed the gumball machine even closer to the door then stepped away. "But the monsters are out there," The girl whimpered, sounding more like a toddler than a fifteen year-old.
 
"Hello? Who is this and where is skyler? Is he ok? Did is he a zombie too?" Angelo just kept babbling into the phone. "Well whoever this is i'm trapped in the church. I'm safe but i need to find another safe place to hide. I believe the ddoors will only hold for so long"
 
"It's OK, there are no monsters right now, but we will be overrun if we stay here. We have to go. I'm going, if you want to stay here you will be taken by them, converted, and if your lucky I will kill you."

Jordan was flying over the city when he saw a truck driving through with a guy in the back shooting at people. He lowered the copter and got on the loudspeaker and said "You guys need a lift?"
 
Lili stared, wide-eyed at the man. He had just said that he'd shoot her if she became a zombie..
The answer on the other side of the phone shook her back into reality.
"I'm Lili, Skyler's sister. Skyler went to visit our grandparents in Florida, he's fine." I hope. "And we're at the candy store, we can come get you." She glanced towards the scientist, hoping that he'd help this guy that knew her brother.
"Also, who are you?" Lili asked, then turned towards the scientist. "I'll come with you," She muttered.
 
"It's angelo. And how could i forget that i went to florida?" Angelo slaps himself on the ofrehead "Well i guess zombies is a pretty good excuse... And we? Who else is there? You know what. I don't care as long as you can get me out of here"
 
"I'm with Dr. C and another girl," She would ask her name later, "we'll be there soon." Lili was glad that the phone was cordless, but how long would they stay connected? She started to push the gumball machine out of the way, again.
 
Dr. Cromwell was glad that that was was out of the way. He got into his truck and waited for the others to get in.
 
Lili raced towards the truck, opening the door to the backseat. She jumped inside, noticing that her seat was behind the driver's. Ammidently, she grabbed the seatbelt and shoved it into the buckle, strapping herself to the seat.

Angelo heard pounding at the doors of the church, And as he turned he saw them start to splinter. "HURRY UP! THEY'RE BREAKING THE DOORS!" He said in a very, VERY, Panicked voice.
