i like the corneria theme from the snes star fox. nice music to get the game flowing. the main battle music for xenosaga was really cool also. a lot of the sonic rush soundtrack was cool, too. the title screen music from nights: journey of dreams was also really cool; i'm really glad sega opted to use an orchestra for that!

Barret's Theme from Final Fantasy VII~ (I love Tifa's too, and Aeris', even though it makes me cry each time. Seriously... did they HAVE to have her theme playing while battling Jenova? Ten-year-old me was like 'Why am I continuing to push buttons to cast Fire? There's no point in living anymore, she's gone, GONE! SHE'LL NEVER CRY OR LAUGH AGAIN!')
And Yuna's Ballad (I think this counts as her theme?) from Final Fantasy X-2. It was always so pretty to me.
That's all I can think of. I like a lot of random Pokemon songs but they aren't really character songs, huh.

Lullaby for You (English/Japanese) from The World ends with you is just... phenomenal. The lyrics are beautiful (although the English ones are a little cheesy), the background music is very appropriate, the vocals just blow you away... and it fits. I heard the song before I played the game, so when I started, I had no clue how it all fit together, but... once I beat it, I hit myself on the head for doubting it <3
