Closed [FINISHED] The Pokemon of the Lake

Re: The Pokemon of the Lake

Ohayou stared up for a moment thinking.
"Ok... this might work..." he muttered.
"Defense formation!" he yelled, and all the Rotoms sped towards each other, forming a tight circle.
"Substitute!" he commanded, the pokemon all turning into dolls.
"Now Cut, Double Team, and the rest, Rotom's army!"

Cut began making copies of itself, and when finished, the remaining four all used Psych Up, filling the lake shore with dolls.

"Now make shields!" Ohayou yelled, the pokemon using combinations of Light Screen and Reflect.

"Ok! Almost done! Take turns using Snatch, Rest, Will-o-Wisp, Thunder Wave, and Toxic!

The dolls turned towards the lake, alternately falling asleep, waiting, and firing attacks.

"Eric, as it starts attacking, use an offensive attack!"

Re: The Pokemon of the Lake

Eric frowned. The Lake Pokemon was gone

"...If it used fucking Teleport, I am going to strangle that thing with my bare ha-" It suddenly burst from under the water, having used dive

"PIKACHU! PLAN 29-P!" Eric shouted. The small rodent grinned evilly and began to charge a beam of energy. She soon loosed a Charge Beam on the Lake Pokemon, with it being fuelled by several thunder attacks

"Introducing the Thunder Beam technique"

[Alright, now somebody can post the Lake Pokemon's response for me]

Re: The Pokemon of the Lake

"Not so fast," said the Lake Pokemon. It used Light Screen, and made the Pikachu's attack much weaker. However, it took a bit of damage, but not much. "It won't be this easy."
"Guys! Come here!" said Patrick. He whispered to the group, "How about a full on attack all at once? The Lake Pokemon can't get us all! We'll reinforce each other!"

Re: The Pokemon of the Lake

"We need strategy," Aria said. "Maybe, if one of us...!" she gasped.
"You guys, Flamefoot will use Brick Break. But does anybody have Heal Block?"
Meanwhile, she sent out Moonshadow, who looked at Mysti's Umbreon dreamily.

Re: The Pokemon of the Lake

'No, I don't have a Pokemon with heal block' Cat told Aria. She once again ordered her Pokemon to getready for the signal to fire all at once. They were getting badly beat up, the Lake Pokemon could tae hits and recover health adn deal back more damage than we could do to it, and it even knew Light Screen. They needed to think of a strategy quickly.

Re: The Pokemon of the Lake

((Is Moonshadow a boy or something?))

Moonlight saw the umbreon looking dreamily at her and stepped back cautiously, her rings brown because she's scared. Mysti saw her Umbreon doing so. "Are you scared of another Umbreon, Midnight? Or are you in love with him, too?" she said.

Re: The Pokemon of the Lake

Cat didn't let the Umbreon distract her in battle mode. Her Pokemon were now just using stat upping moves and status moves. Elegant used Calm Mind, Delicate used Calm Mind as well, Goldenflame used Confuse Ray and so did Lapras. The Lake Pokemon dodged most of the confuse rays but was hit by the firing Confuse rays by both Pokemon. But somehow the Lake Pokemon recovered from being Confused. However Elegant and Delcate were still storing power to unleash on the Lake Pokemon. Cat had trained for this but she hadn't expected it to be so hard, all her Pokemon were getting tired. Cat couldn't think of a way to beat this hard opponent.

Re: The Pokemon of the Lake

((I only have an Umbreon, and yes he is a boy. I just decided to add something. :P))
Moonshadow blinked, then looked away. He then turned to his trainer.
"I think Latios should learn it," Aria noted, turning to Patrick. "Does your Latios know it?"

Re: The Pokemon of the Lake

'I could lend you the TM for Heal Block if you'd like' Cat told Aria. Cat knew that the Lake Pokemon wouldn't hesitate to attack the team. As she spoke Cat's Pokemon continued to power up with Goldenflame and Seasurfer now using Will-o-Wisp and Sing. The Lake Pokemon fell asleep and couldn't get burned as it was already asleep. While it slept it gave the team time to think without being attacked.

Re: The Pokemon of the Lake

"Yeah, I think Aero knows it... But I've never let him use it before, because he's never had to! But I guess I'll try. AERO! HEAL BLOCK!" Patrick shouted. Aero shot out a beam of energy, which encompassed the Lake Pokemon. "YES! It worked! Now let's quickly attack," he continued. "Swampy, use Hammer Arm! Squish, use a Hyper Beam! Aero, Luster Purge! And Haps, Egg Bomb!"

Re: The Pokemon of the Lake

"Moonshadow, Faint Attack! But first, Flamefoot uses Brick Break!"
Flamefoot leaped forward and punched through Light Screen. Then Moonshadow phased out, reappearing in front of the Lake Pokemon. Then the two stepped back.

Re: The Pokemon of the Lake

((I'm talking about was Eeveeskitty's Espeon a boy?))

"Wonder what happens if both our Umbreons use Faint Attack at the same time?" she asked Aria. Then, she turned to Suicune. "Purification, use Calm Mind!" the Suicune did so, relieving all of her stress.

((no all my pokemon are girls))

OK. I'm leaving to Auckland from now to 3 September[my time zone] and won't post at all unless lucky so lets pretend I'm attacking and the such until I'm back and the Lake Pokemon doesn't attack me. Thank you.

Re: The Pokemon of the Lake

"Ok! Now, mass Charge!" Ohayou commanded, his Rotom combining all 5 of their Charge attacks.

After it was finished, and Brick Break had been used on the barriers, he commanded Wash to use Rain Dance, and the rest to hold his charge until it was done.

As raindrops fell, Wash resumed charging and a moment later Ohayou nodded.

"Now, Thunder..." he said quietly, his pokemom summoning a massive bolt of lightning from the sky, which rocketed towards the Lake Pokemon.

Come on... hit... He thought, shivering with anticipation.

(((Let's see... ([120*(2*5)]*2)*2=4800)))
(((Holy shit... that's strong *didn't think of this until after typage*)))

Re: The Pokemon of the Lake

Mist grunted as the Pokemon used Refresh, before using a Dragon Dance. Once his speed was up, he could pack more of a punch, as he said in his mind.
Grace, however, was thinking. She knew several moves that could aid this strange creature. She had a wide variety of moves. To her, Imprison was the obvious choice.
And Joy was confused. She had too many choices. What should she choose? To any Togekiss, the answer would be Metronome.
And Flower, due to her rash youth, didn't take the hint of strategy, using Mist Ball.
Shimmer had the best idea, though. The Pokemon had failed to repel or dodge her Mind Reader. She had learned several strategies that were useful for a battling Articuno. Mind Reader had been a setup. She was waiting until the Lake Pokemon could not use Protect or Detect to evade her next attack.
