Lupine Volt
My name is...
Howdy y'all! I'm just here to start up my first RPG...*Gulps nervously*...Well, here we go.
The continent of Melinado is a peaceful place, where Laguz and Beorc live peacefully*Yes, I'm using Laguz here. Deal with It.* Legend says that it was watched over by the seven gods and goddesses. The Gluttonous sea God, the lusting goddess of lightning, the envious god of Darkness, the prideful goddess of light, the wrathful god of fire, the slothful god of earth, and the greedy god of wind. The 7 each had faults, but they worked together to shape the continent and create life in their image.
…However, soon, the force of chaos began to corrupt the people. War began, and the seven attributes of the deities began to infect the people. The seven discovered that the world was slowly being pulled towards the void, and, in order to save their creation, they sealed themselves away in the void. To do so, they sought the help of a female acolyte of the church, who forced the seven into the void with her magic powers. They each left her one gem each, the Sapphire, the Amethyst, the Sardonyx, the Topaz, the ruby, the emerald, and the opal.
The acolyte, on the last words of the gods, traversed the country and ordered that 7 temples be built in seven different locations. After that, on her blood, she sealed each gemstone away in the appropriate temple.
Anyways, the continent is divided into 8 countries.
Tyoble is ruled by Beorc king Numair Southeast border. Where our journey will begin. Known for its long history of tolerance of all life. A lot of forests, and scattered villages. The capital is Tardina, and it is of mixed races. It is home to the temple of the Slothful god, within the Romiene forest.
Rorna: Ruled by Queen Lynstrid, Northeast border. Slightly biased against all Laguz and Nomads. Getting better, though. The capital is Doward, and it is home to the Temple of the Lustful Goddess. Most of it is farm land. Very few Beorc
Merca, the nomad's country, bordering the northern sea. Home of the wandering tribes. Although…rumors spread amongst the villages say that there is another group within the gently rolling hills. It has no capital.
Badsudi, the nation of the beast laguz*Cats, Tigers, Lions* Pro Beorc nation. Grasslands and plains dominate the area, and the capital is Stahnfor. They pay tribute to the Wrathful fire god in his temple
Lupina, nation of the wolves, across the western sea. Doesn't really care that much about race. Heavily forested area, with the capital being Remna. They worship the envious god of darkness.
Dakora, nation of the birds, mountainous country in the center of the continent. Anti-Beorc for the most part. The capital, Bindara, is atop mount Cariona. They pay worship to the Greedy god of wind in his temple atop the tallest mountain, mount Formajor.
Y,Corso, along the southern sea, ruled by the emperor Achia. The northern part is a barren desert, while the south is relatively swampy. The capital is Sacreha, and it is home to the temple of the prideful goddess of light.
The Island of Rorcan is southeast of Melinado, and is home to the dragon tribes. No one has been there in over a hundred years, and lived to return…and, it is said in the scriptures that the temple to the gluttonous sea god rests there.
Anyways, in Tyoble, you are a member of a recently created band of mercenaries that takes on small jobs. While life now seems monotonous, things may eventually pick up...you never know what may happen.
