Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Happy 25th birthday, Link!

This year marks the 25th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda...so share your memories and speculations of Skyward Sword here.

Woah, 25 years.

Legend of Zelda is the same age as my highschool. However, that picture is the most amazing thing ever~ I bookmarked it. Pity it's so massive - my computer derped when it was loading it. Took forever.

So excited for Skyward Sword~ My friends are pooling their money to get it for my birthday, apparently. This makes me very happy indeed.

I'm hoping to get it for my birthday, as long as it comes out before May 27. Also, hopefully I'll actually be able to get past the forest temple on this one.

Damn, twenty-five years. It's hard to believe most of us have been around for more than half the series' lifespan. I swear to god if Link were real he'd be all our best friends and we'd throw him a massive surprise party xD

My buddies and I are paying off Skyward Sword so that the week of its release, we can just blow through every single Zelda game on junk food and a minimum 40 hours of sleep, and then Skyward. Shit's gonna be so epic.

::hauls out Triforce cake with two candles spelling 25 in the middle::

Happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday dear Link,
Happy birthday to you!

And with Link, automatically Zelda and Ganondorf celebrate their birthdays as well. (And the old man in the cave. can't forget him.)

"It's dangerous to go alone! Take this with you!" - Old Man (I hope to Din/Nayru/Farore that I got that quote right. If not, shame on me)

We've come a VERY long way since 25 years ago. Can't wait for SS! I remember hearing rumors somewhere that it'll be the last Zelda game Nintendo will make. Please tell me it isn't true!

As long as Link makes them money, Nintendo will keep thinking up new adventures--besides the rumor of SS being the final game has been proven false.
