Right, so me, Kali and Nimler'll be running this RP~ I will be leading the fire drakes, Kali will be leading the ice drakes, and Nimler leads the humans.

A legend states that in the past, the two great dragon matriarchs, Allystari of Fire and Vesernia of Ice fought in an eternal conflict. Their size and elemental powers were so great, they eruped volcanoes, moved glaciers, and left a wake of destruction that resonated throughout the lands, threatening to extinguish civilization in its entirety. A great human sorcerer, Vorgesson, cast a spell to trap the two dragons in a golden artifact, the Talisman of Light.

The children of each matriach were devestated from the losses of their queens. They shapeshifted into a human form, hiding out amongst them, longing for the day they could finally reawaken their queen and create the utopian world they desired. Their numbers dwindled, and they were forced eventually to breed with the humans for the survival of their clans. The only problem was, with each generation of successive halfbreeds, the dragon blood inside them became weaker and their dragon forms became smaller

It is now the year 2030. The dragon clans have been diluted so much that only a small fraction of their original power remains. Two small groups of individuals, one based on each element, are racing against time and each other to find the Talisman of Light and discover a way to reawaken their fallen queens... to finally retake their rightful place as the dominant species of the world. They each have traced the Talisman to one place -- Morvellan City. However, the Morvellan City Police, led by a descendant of the Great Sorceror himself and with the weapons and resources of the city, stand to prevent either group from succeeding, and aim to keep the peace and protect humanity from a new age of dragons.

Every drake should have 3 forms, a human form, a dragon form, and a halfbreed - basically a reptilian human, about 8-10 feet tall with some draconic features like colored scales, claws, sharp teeth, and a tail for instance. Flight would only be possible in dragon form, though that's also the most visible form and must only be used at night to keep from attracting too much attention. I was also thinking that there would be several ranks within each dragon community, based on the proportion of pure dragon blood remaining. Higher ranks would have larger, more powerful dragon forms. The lowest rank would basically be like a weredrake, a human who's been 'bitten' by a drake (in drake form). Weredrakes would not have a dragon form, but it would be necessary to 'convert' a human into a weredrake before they can be bred with. 'Humans' that are actually drakes in disguise cannot become a weredrake of the other clan, and interbreeding between the clans should be prohibited (or possibly just result in a powerless human).

Dragon's Character
Name: Vai Windra
Gender: Female
Age: 22
Side: Fire drakes
Rank: Leader-Noble
Personality: Vai is rather immature, and has become the leader of the fire drakes just recently, a human year ago. She sometimes makes rash decisions, and is still getting used to the responsibilities of a leader. She solves problems with her claws, and is extremely loyal to the fire drakes and any possible allies.

Human Appearance: Vai stands around five and a half feet tall, and wears a black sleeved cloak over a red shirt. She wears baggy brown pants and sandals. Vai has dark brown hair and eyes, and appears to be East Asian. She is usually smirking.

Alternate Appearances:

Halfbreed
In halfbreed form, Vai is nine feet tall and has dark grey skin. She has no fingernails, and instead has pointed fingertips. She has a tail around half her body length, and can move on all fours and on her hind legs. Her teeth are pointed and her ears are split into two. She has small feathered wings on her back that are useless for flight. In halfbreed form, Vai prefers not to wear clothes.

Full Dragon
In full dragon form, Vai is seven and a half feet tall at the shoulder. She is quadrupedal, and has black scales, streaked with orange-red. Her wings are feathered, and on the tip of her tail are three ragged feathers. Her 'ears' are crested, separated into three points. Rather than having claws, she has pointed fingertips. On Vai's spine are jagged silver spikes.

Name: Naku Eito
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Side: ICE DRAKES :D
Rank: Noble
Personality: Naku Eito doesn't seem to be too partial about his hairstyle and usually manages to ignore teasing about it. Naku acts careful but is a bit physically clumsy and can't be trusted with large objects. Despite this he always formulates what might happen in a big word fight or tongue-lashing and attempts to think up retorts for everything the Fire Drakes throw at the Ice Drakes. One day he hopes to be the "Ice Talker," or the person who can solve arguments or just about any feud with only words, but so far he hasn't acheived this yet.

Naku is optimistic and can almost never be seen saying a negative thing. He dislikes day because of the fact that he can only be a dragon at nighttime, and he is rather attached to his full dragon form. His favorite season is winter, so with all this information one would probably correctly infer that he likes flying around in the snow at night.

Human Appearance: Naku stands at about 5'3" and has well-combed, straight white hair that is waist-length. He has coal black eyes and a slim build. He wears a white T-shirt under a black jacket. Along with this are dusk-gray sweatpants and white slip-on shoes.

Halfbreed

As a halfbreed, Naku stands at about 9'3" tall and has ice-blue skin. His fingernails are long and pointed, black and curved. He has a seven-foot tail that he often uses as a whip against the Fire Drakes, but only the ones with less power or bravery than him. His ears are taller and have two spike-like portrusions coming out of the top. His canine teeth are longer and sharper than usual.

Full Dragon

As a Dragon, Naku's body is about twelve feet long and six-and-a-half feet high at the shoulder. His front feet are more like hands than anything else, bearing four fingers and a thumb. His fingernails are large and pointed, their dangerous tips nearly touching the ground. He has a flexible neck and a head shaped unmistakably like a wolf's. His eyes are completely black besides the golden ring that separates the pupil from the rest. His teeth are like those of a tigers, being sharp and having very long canine teeth. He has protective black plates on his chin that run down the front of his neck and chest to end under where his belly button would be. His scales are an icy blue and very cold to the touch. He has three spikes protruding backwards from his forehead. Attached to his shoulders are a pair of large, webbed wings that are often stuck vertically up and folded forwards to give Naku a demonic look. His rear legs are built like those of a wolf, with large feet bearing four clawed toes and a talon sticking out from the back of his heel. His tail is about nine feet long and thick, packed with muscle like the tail of his halfbreed form with very similar uses.

Name: Darkmoon
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Side: Ice drakes
Rank: Warrior
Personality: Rather arrogant when angry, and Darkmoon can have a short temper. However, most of the time she's friendly and likes being around those she knows. If she's alone, she usually becomes timid and likes to hide, although she's normally brave. Being by herself can be Darkmoon's biggest weakness. She prefers to use teamwork and strategy rather than anything else.
Human Appearance: Standing about five feet two inches tall in human form, Darkmoon has long, straight hair colored jet-black. Her eyes are a light, crystal or maybe icy blue. Most of the time she wears skin-tight, sky-blue or ice blue clothes, such as short-sleeved shirts and sweat pants, with no shoes or socks unless she is required to wear them.

Dragon:
When fully dragon, she is about six feet eight inches tall at the shoulder, with a short but flexible neck and crocodile-like head, with ridges above her piercing blue eyes and her head starting wide and tapering into a thin snout with sharp fangs. Her scales are a light blue, almost white, and rather rounded. Where ears would be on a cat, she has short, straight horns. Darkmoon is a lithe dragon with long legs and claws, but rather small feet. Her wings are large and bat-like, with almost transparent skin stretching between the "fingers," which end in small claws; however, these claws are so weak and placed in such an area that they can't sufficiently be used for battle. Her tail is long and ridged, with an arrowhead tip.

Halfbreed:
A mix between her human and full dragon forms, she stands about eight feet one inch tall. In place of the visible ears are the gray horns that she has in dragon form, and instead of fingernails and fingers, and toes and toenails, she has long, light gray claws. From the base of her spine grows her dragon form's tail, but she can't use it as well in the halfbreed form. Most of her clothes become scales. But other than this, she has human features.

Just a quick statement about ranks: "Leaders" are Nobles who have taken control of the clan. The ranks are also in order of increasing number, so I don't want to see like 20 nobles and not much of anything else. Also, I'll let Nimler handle the police ranks. They're likely different than the drake ranks.

Personality:
Valon is rather cold and calculating. He takes his position very seriously, and actively tries to make sure people are doing what they should be. He doesn't take laziness or incompetence very lightly, but he'll forgive an occasional honest mistake as long as he can see the effort and reasoning.

Human Appearance:
Valon has very pale skin. His long, straight, silvery hair has almost a bluish hue and comes down to about his waist, although it is tied in a ponytail below his shoulders. He stands just under 6 feet tall and looks rather lanky, with a defined but not bulging muscle tone. He has big, blue eyes, and often wears a black, leather coat over a blue shirt, along with blue jeans.

Alternate Appearances:
Halfbreed: In this form, Valon grows to almost 10 feet tall, standing upright. His skin becomes about the same color as his hair, and is covered in scales. His head becomes longer with a pointed snout, and his neck more than doubles in size all around from his human form. His hair remains, though it becomes more wild-looking. His eyes become a golden color, with black slits down the middle. His fingernails become an inch long and pointed, as well as more securely attached to his hands. He also grows a 5-foot long tail, with dark ridges all down his backbone to the end of the tail. He has small, inoperable wings as well

Dragon: Valon is about 25 feet long in his full dragon form, 7 feet of which is from his tail. He stands about 9 feet tall at the shoulder, almost having reached his full adult size. His shoulders, back, and top of his sides are made of smooth blue scales, while his segmented underhide is a much lighter blue, almost silver, and feels more like a hard leather. He has black spikes/bone spurs along his backbone, all the way down his tail, ending in a black, triangular cup. His head is about 2 feet wide at the cheeks, with a long, paraboloid-shaped snout, filled with a row of teeth all 2-3 inches long. He has many long spikes and horns protruding back and out from his head of various lengths and widths, including three long, thin ones that are associated with each of his ears. His wings are very long, giving him a 40 foot wingspan in total. The portion that surrounds the limbs of the wings are the same blue as his back, while the folds of skin between their long fingers are the same color as his front.

Mark is rather distant from people other than those close to him, of which there are few. He is a fierce fighter when necessary, but prefers to sneak around his enemies. He often spends time above the clouds, at night, thinking.
Human Appearance:
Mark has blue-gray eyes. His short, generally ruffled dark brown hair has several gray streaks in it. Mark is about 5 feet tall and is rather thin, although not very noticably. He usually wears a lot of grey and blue clothes.
Alternate Appearances:
Halfbreed: As a halfbreed, Mark grows about a foot and a half taller, and his eyes grow larger. His ears become pointed, and he gains a long tail with an icicle-like point. His skin turns bluish-grey, and several parts of his body sprout small, half-formed scales.
Dragon: Mark is 18 feet long, a bit of a runt. His tail, about 5 feet long, is tipped by a large, ice-colored crystal spike. His snout, longer than most, is tipped with a small crystal. His ears, large and pointed, are flanked on either side by large crystal-like horns. His wings, proportionaly oversized, extend down his tail, making him look, from below, like an icy kite with a head. His legs are long, as are his arms. His scales are grayish-blue, and his underbelly is a speckled blue-and-purple color.

Personality: Somewhat modest and a natural leader. Carius is someone who thinks that if you are going to lead do it from the field not from a desk. He often goes on patrol with some random cop and tries to go with the swat team as often as he can. He became chief when he proved he was excelling at police work. He silently guards the Talisman of Light
Appearance: (Um should I'm just going to post this because I can't change forms) About 5'11 and 195 pounds, Carius dosen't look like a socerer's descandant. He has no hair on his head but some 5'0'clock shadow no matter how often he shaves. He looks young despite being bald. He is muscular but wears street clothes to discuise it. (Forgive any misspells)
