Looks like Game Freak doesn't hate us after all! Jirachi is obtainable on all Generation 4 games* over Wi-fi from June 26th until July 16th. When obtained on HeartGold/SoulSilver, this will unlock the Night Sky's Edge Pokewalker course.

*not sure if it's available on Japanese games since I think they already got this one. Also, if you're American or Australian then you might have already got this at a TRU event.
 
Apparently it has Draco Meter O_O I would get it if my DS didn't epic-ly fail at Wifi.
 
I got one, my friend likes to drag me to those events not that I mind.
I got it on Pearl and then obtained platinum and put it there. My pearl is finished so it's useless there.

I was pretty disappointed actually that I could not have put it on my Sapphire as that is the game I am currently focusing on and technically I am pretty sure Jirachi is a generation 3 pokemon.
 
Well, by the time I noticed the event, I had already gotten the gamestop one. I'm a sucker for event pokemon, however, and I now have three draco meteor jirachis. (levels 70, 12, and 7)

and I somewhat agree with sresevoir- draco meteor may be a good move, but the recoil sucks, especially on a Jirachi.
 
no, I mean events in general suck. they're ridiculously hard to get good IVs from, unless you rng for them, and are restricted even then.

The gamestop pokemon really aren't that great it seems. I also got the so called 'Pikachu Colored Pichu' but when I looked at it there didn't seem to be anything special about it.

It triggers an event in Ilex Forest in HG/SS, if you're saying you somehow got the thing without knowing what it's for. :U
