This thread was on the old forum (albeit a long time ago) but I thought I'd re-make it.

Basically, you just make a moveset for a character you'd like so see in SSB. Use this format if you like:

Character: Mr Resetti (Animal Crossing)

Standard attack: Resetti hits out with his pickaxe. 3%.

Smash attacks:
-A+Up: Resetti raises his pickaxe and spins it rapidly to attack. Can be kept spinning by holding. 2% for every hit.
-A+Side: Resetti throws his pickaxe like a boomerang. 5%.
-A+Down: Resetti slices downwards with his pickaxe. 4%.

Special attacks:
-B: Scream: Resetti shouts about saving before switching off the game, releasing a powerful soundwave. Can be charged. 6%.
-B+Up: Dirt rush: Resetti briefly goes underground, then jumps out, brining with him a large amount of dirt. 5%.
-B+Side: Tunnel: Resetti buries underground and resurfaces a distance away in the direction you pressed. He will go further if you hold the button, but you can't see where he's going so he may end up dropping off of a platform by mistake.
-B+Down: Bury: Resetti hides underground. He resurfaces when you let go.

Jump attacks:
-Jump+A: An ordinary pickaxe swing. 3%.
-Jump+A+Up: Resetti does an uppercut in mid-air. 6%.
-Jump+A+Side: Resetti propels himself in that direction with his pickaxe pointing forwards. 5%.
-Jump+A+Down: Resetti flips in midair and dives towards the ground. 4%.

Grab: Resetti uses his pickaxe to grab the opponent.

Grab+A: Resetti punches the grabbed opponent with his free hand. 4%.

Final Smash: tantrum: Resetti goes into overdrive, screaming and shouting to everyone he sees, telling them to save before turning off. His speed increases and he flails around angrily, dealing 15% damage to everyone he hits.
 
Character: Tingle (Legend of Zelda)

Standard attack: Slap: Speaks for itself.

Smash attacks:
-A+Up: Balloon Pop: Tingle unleashes a massive burst of air upwards by popping his balloon.
-A+Side: Jab: Pokes you with hit pointed head.
-A+Down: Spin: Spins around very quickly in one spot.

Special attacks:
-B: Stare: He stares at you with his crazy eyes and paralyzes you for a second.
-B+Up: Balloon: Hovers for a while with his balloon.
-B+Side: Confetti: Throws a lot of confetti in one direction.
-B+Down: Extortionist: He pulls a rupor (the thing from Phantom Hourglass that makes you lose money) out of the ground and throws it, much like Peach's down+b. In coin matches this makes a lot of coins appear.

Jump attacks:
-Jump+A: Kick
-Jump+A+Up: Spin: Drilling into people above with his head.
-Jump+A+Side: Wham!: Hit you with his hip.
-Jump+A+Down: Dive: Dives downward for a spike. Can't recover if you go off the edge.

Grab: A normal grab.

Grab+A: Headbutt

Final Smash: Tingle, Tingle, Kooloo-Limpah!: Tingle grows his balloon and drops a ceaseless flow of confetti on the people below (until his balloon runs out). It has more of a chance of knocking someone off the screen if they're closer to Tingle.

Character: Blaziken (in b4 kratos)

Standard attack: Jab

Smash attacks:
-A+Up: Kicks up into the air.
-A+Side: Slash forward.
-A+Down: Spits a fireball at his feet.

Special attacks:
-B: Focus Punch- Work like falcon punch but with less fire.
-B+Up: Sky Uppercut- Does a jab up into the air, much like Mario's Jump Punch except with a bigger range.
-B+Side: Flare Blitz- Rushes forward with flames surrounding it.
-B+Down: Blaze Kick- See Falcon Kick.

Jump attacks:
-Jump+A: Quickly slashes in front of him.
-Jump+A+Up: Heabutts into the air.
-Jump+A+Side: Kicks forward.
-Jump+A+Down: Pumps his legs downward.
-Jump+A+Back: Kicks behind him.

Grab: Normal grab.

Grab+A: Knees the opponent in the stomach.

Final Smash: Overheat- jumps over to the nearest edge and fires a wide burst of flame.
 
Character: Kratos

Entrance: Falls from the sky

Standard attack: A standard stab with his Blades.

Smash attacks:
-A+Up: Hyperion Rise: (Kratos launches the enemy up in the air with his Blades of Chaos.)
-A+Side: Rampage of the Furies: (He spins with his Blades like a whirlwind. (similar to Meta Knight))
-A+Down: Tartarus: (Kratos whips the ground with his Blades.)

Special attacks:
-B: Gauntlet of Zeus (similar to the Falcon Punch, without the charge)
-B+Up: Rage of Poseidon (A small lightning storm engulfs around Kratos. Leaves him open for attack)
-B+Side: Army of the Ferryman (Ghosts wrap around the enemy, needling them.)
-B+Down: Head of the Gorgons (Fires a red bolt. If charged, it can turn the enemy into stone for 8 seconds.)

Jump attacks:
-Jump+A: Blades of Chaos (A normal stab)
-Jump+A+Up: Ascension (Engulfs in flames for a second as Kratos launches into the air)
-Jump+A+Side: Plume of Prometheus (Spins around with his blades while covered in flames.)
-Jump+A+Down: Cosmos Strike (Crashes down to the ground, similar to Bowser)

Grab: Normal grab

Grab+A: Wrath of Sparta (stabs the enemy numerous times.)

Final Smash: God of War (rises up to 10 times his former size, engulfed in flames. All attacks are faster & deal more damage for 15 seconds. Similar to Giga Bowser.)

Character: Rocket (Rocket Slime, DQM)

Special attacks:
-B: Zam - A faint dark pulse is sent out, and can be moved around with the control stick. When B is released, the pulse becomes a dark cloud that'll damage enemies.
-B+Up: Float - Rocket does that floaty thing where he becomes flat and hovers. Great vertical movement, but virtually no horizontal movement at all.
-B+Side: Elasto Blast - Rocket does an Elasto Blast, where he stretches his body out and hurls himself forward. Can be charged.
-B+Down: Item Throw - Rocket pulls a random projectile item out of the ground and throws it. Different items have different strengths, with the Boulder being the most common and the weakest, and the Hero's Sword being the rarest and strongest.

Grab: Rocket does a quick Elasto Blast forward, sending the enemy forwards just enough so that they land on top of Rocket. He can move around with the enemy "grabbed", like DK.

Grab+A: Rocket tosses his opponent into the air a few inches. They get hurt upon landing back down on him.

Final Smash: Goht Schleiman - A volcano appears in the backround and the Schleiman and Schwarzman tanks fall into it. Rocket goes into the backround and jumps into it as well, and the Goht Schleiman tank emerges. You can fly around and fire powerful ammo while controlling the Goht Schleiman tank. You'll revert back to normal after about ten seconds.

Gogogo third parties.
 
What happened to A attacks, Cinderpelt? If a character doesn't have any Smash Attacks (A+direction), they can't KO anyone...
 
Trouble is, making regular attacks for a slime thing with no hands or feet and a head that doubles as its whole body is a tad difficult.
 
I'll just list special moves, since standards take such time and are pretty much the same anyway... ehe...

Link:

Up - Deku Leaf: When grounded, strikes with leaf to blow away opponents. When in the air, catches wind and rises a couple meters, then glides. Press Up-special button while in the air to shake leaf and disrupt opponents touching you.

Down - Hurricane Spin: Uncharged, it's just like the Spin Attack, but when fully charged, Link zooms back and forth over the stage, dealing big damage and knockback. He gets dizzy for a moment, though.

Forward - Skull Hammer: Slams ground with Skull Hammer. In the air, he swings it from side to side (Like Kirby).

Neutral - Ice Arrow: Freezes opponents at higher percentages. If an arrow hits the ground, that place becomes more slippery for a while. The more charge, the more freeze.

Final Smash - Ballad of Gales: Link directs the Ballad of Gales, calling forth a massive twister that flies all over the stage, picking up and damaging Link's opponents (kind of like Sacred Fire, but bigger and moving). Eventually, it calms down, and everyone falls down. If they're unlucky, it ends off-stage. Mostly good for racking up damage, so Link can knock the victims out with Smash attacks.

That'd be Toon Link, only his name would be Link, since, you know, his name is Link.

Character: Dimentio (Super Paper Mario)

On-Screen Appearance: Teleports on the same way he did in SPM

Standard Attack: Energy Cloud

Smash attacks:
-A+Up: Creates Mini-Explosion upwards
-A+Side: Shoots out energy pulse
-A+Down: SPins while shrouding himself in energy

Special attacks:
-B: Uses energy burst that he used in SPM
-B+Up: Gains the ability to float higher for short amount of time (like Wings of Icarus)
-B+Side: Creates fake clone that causes damage if enemy attacks it
-B+Down: Creates a series of ultra short range mini-explosions

Jump attacks:
-Jump+A: shrouds himself in energy as he descends
-Jump+A+Up: slaps upward to form another energy cloud
-Jump+A+Side: same as a-up but to the side
-Jump+A+Down: creates mini explosions below him

Grab: forms glass box around enemy

Grab+A: causes one explosion in box

Final Smash: Dimension D- sends himself and all the enemies to DImension D, where he becomes faster and stronger for 15 seconds

Yes, some of these attacks are kind of repetitive, but in SPM, Dimentio has a small set of powers anyway.
 
Character: Richter Belmont (Castlevania)

Standard attack: Whips straight ahead of him

Smash attacks:
-A+Up: Like Link's he whips a 3 times aimed directly above him
-A+Side: Similar to standard attack but more powerful
-A+Down: Again, like Link's he whips the ground on both sides of him

Special attacks:
-B: Throws 3 daggers in a parrelel line directly ahead of him
-B+Up: Creates a recovery jump by leaping into the air with a thrust:

-B+Side: Throws a cross that goes out a distance before returning like a boomerang
-B+Down: Throws a vial of holy water which appear like flames and run on the ground a bit moving foreward before dissapearing

Jump attacks:
-Jump+A: In jump, he whips directly ahead
-Jump+A+Up: In jump he swings the whip around above his head
-Jump+A+Side: same and Jump+A
-Jump+A+Down: Strikes straight downwards for a meteor smash

Grab: Uses to whip to tie up opponent and draw them close, can also be used to tether

Grab+A: With free hand he gives enemy a few punches

Final Smash: Grand Cross

Character: Firefox (Star Fox: The Last Hope [my fic])

Entry: John appears in a flash of fire, and the other three come out of his subconscious and merge with him.

A-A: Flare Kick(3%)
Tap A: Rush Flare kick (Exactly like Rapid Kick by Fox, a bit slower and does 5% per hit)

Smash attacks:
-A+Up: Sword slash up. (6%, has added effects for each form)

Staff[/spoiler Smash. (8%)
-A+Down: Earthquake (Takes both fists and slams toward ground. x3 damage if hit by fist. 7%)

Special attacks: Form 1 (Normal)
-B: Megabuster (Gets Omega-Xis's head and fires bolts. 5% rapid, chargable up to 25%)
-B+Up: Hornet (Gets one of Xana's Hornets and hangs on for a while, making it fly in the direction held while the Hornet materializes. 5%. Shadow Damage.)

-B+Down: Firefox Merge (Changes form into the next one. Causes fire to erupt from Firefox. 5%)

North Star Finale: Firefox will yell, "By the North Star, the fire rises..." Firefox turns to his normal form and becomes gold with silver. He then proceeds to lock on to the nearest CHARACTER (Not Pikmin, etc) and slash it insanely with his sword. Almost ALWAYS Kos. Power starts at 50%, but if two get caught, the power doubles, and if three get caught... ouch.
Blood Fox: Firefox yells, "No... not again!!!" Firefox then changes entirely, turns red and black, becomes next to impossible to control, and proceeds to attempt to destroy everyone on the field, even at the cost of his own life. Lasts 30 seconds.

Character: Shigeru

Standard attack: Punch

Smash attacks:
-A+Up: Headbutt
-A+Side: Knee Kick
-A+Down: Kick

Special attacks:
-B: Awesome Game: Makes an awesome game and hurts anyone near him. Is super effective against characters not created by him.
-B+Up: Arwing: Like Snake's up move, except with an Arwing.
-B+Side: F-Zero machine: Like Wario's side move.
-B+Down: Ocarina of Time: Random effect depending on which song he plays. Similar to Togepi.

Jump attacks:
-Jump+A: Jump Kick
-Jump+A+Up: Light hand: His hand glows and anyone touching him from above get blasted away.
-Jump+A+Side: Gun: Matrix style jumping to one side and shooting in slow motion.
-Jump+A+Down: Weak kick, but works well as a spike.

Entrance: A Pig Ship lands, he gets out, the Pig Ship flies away.

-Jump+A+Side: Masked Man launches into a fury of swipes. (1% per hit)

Up+Throw: Masked Man tosses the foe slightly above him and then bats them up with his sword. (5%)
Down+Throw: Masked Man just tosses the foe to the ground. (7%)
Side+Throw: Masked Man holds the foe by the neck, then bats them away with his sword. (4%)

Grab+A: Masked Man stabs the foe repeatedly. (2% per hit)

Final Smash: PK LOVE: Masked Man flies into the background, and the stage is engulfed by rapidly moving hexagons. (10% per hit)

Well, today I thought up an SSB moveset for Sho Minamimoto from The World Ends With You, and thought I may as well post it. And yes, I'm aware there is exactly zero chance of him getting put in SSB.

I thought quite rightly that Minamimoto would fight using Taboo Noise as cronies rather than using his own power, so all his specials, smashes, grabs and air attacks are done by Taboo Noise he summons. But rather than being a Pokémon Trainer kind of thing I thought they'd just appear, do the attack and immediately be erased, so Sho is actually fighting and not standing on the sidelines dictating the battle.

Anyway, the moveset:

REGULAR ATTACKS
Kicks and punches. Nothing fancy, really.

SPECIAL ATTACKS
Neutral special: Minamimoto summons a Chaoti Corehog which shoots exploding quills each time you press B.
Side special: Minamimoto summons a Grunge Wolf which charges off the screen in the direction Minamimoto is facing; like Fox's side special, but Sho himself doesn't actually move.
Up special: Minamimoto summons a Death Metal Mink which spins around him forming a tornado. If used in midair or for recovery, Sho floats upwards and can be steered left and right for a while.
Down special: Minamimoto summons a Carcinopunk, which blocks enemy attacks with its claws.

SMASH ATTACKS
Up smash: Minamimoto summons a Eurobeat Boomer (yelling "INFINITY!" as he does so), which jumps upwards, launching any enemies it hits, then lands, dealing considerable damage to anyone beneath it.
Side smash: Minamimoto summons a Trance Rhino (yelling "DIE, RADIAN!" as he does so), which launches enemies in the direction Minamimoto is facing with a swipe of its horn.
Down smash: Sho causes a junk pile to rise up from the ground (yelling "Zetta slow!" as he does so), launching any enemies above it straight upwards.

AIR ATTACKS
Minamimoto summons a flock of Nefastravens and sends them flying in the direction of attack. They can be guided with the control stick until they go off the screen or Minamimoto is damaged.

GRABS
Sho summons a Wall of Grizzly which grabs foes, slashes at them and hurls them in the direction the control stick is tilted, or slams them on the ground if it is tilted down.

FINAL SMASH: Leo Cantus
Minamimoto summons a host of Taboo Noise, draws themk into his body and transforms into his Noise form, Leo Cantus. Leo Cantus is faster than Sho Minamimoto, and his attacks deal more damage. His specials, smashes and air attacks are replaced with kicking and slashing attacks, and his grab is replaced by an attack in which he grabs the foe and slams it on the ground. He also says "zetta slow!" a hell of a lot. After about 10-15 seconds he reverts.

TAUNTS
Up taunt: Minamimoto straightens his cap and says "zetta slow!".
Side taunt: Minamimoto makes the beckoning "bring it on" gesture and says "you're outa your vector!".
Down taunt: Minamimoto makes a small trash pile appear and quickly dismantles it.

Upon winning a Brawl, Minamimoto will be accompanied by whichever Noise he last summoned in the battle, floating a little of the ground, and will say either "SOH-CAH-TOA" or "the world is garbage!". If he loses, he will erase the Noise he is standing with and look away angrily into the distance.

B Down: Sets down Boomer/Bombette/Boberry
Final Smash: Supernova: If you press A at the right times, then beams of light will fly across the screen and your opponents could take massive damage.

Jeff
A: Ray Gun (MOst A attacks are with his Ray or Pop gun)
B: Sets down a big bottle rocket. Does lots of damage, but doesn't home.
B Side: Bazooka. Like Solid Snake's.
B Up: Bubble Monkey. A monkey comes out behind his back, blows a big bubble, and floats up.
B Down: Sets down three little bottle rockets. They home in, but don't do much damage.
Final Smash: Sky Runner: Jeff gets in a UFO-like object which flies up. Zombies attack below. Like Olimar's FS.

Kamek
A: Whacks a character with his wand. (Most A attacks are with his wand)
B: Shoots a spell. Does more damage than the homing spell.
B Side: Shoots a homing spell, but does less damage than the regular spell.
B Up: Gets on his broom and flies up.
B Down: Vanishes and reappears a few feet away.
Final Smash: Giant Baby Bowser: A Giant Baby Bowser appears in the background. He attacks the characters with his attacks from Yoshi's Island.

Bowser Jr.
A: Throws a Koopa Shell. Can be used like the Koopa Shell item after it has been thrown.(Most of his A attacks are with his paintbrush)
B: Transforms into Shadow Mario.
B Side: Breathes fire.
B Down: Gets in his shell and his spikes get extra pointy.
B Up: He gets in his Kiddy Klown Kopter and flies up.
Final Smash: Creativity: A toolbar appears on the right of the screen. For 15 seconds, you can add missles, spikes, platforms, wind, and other stuff. There is a limit, and it wears of after around 30 seconds.

Blaziken
A: Flamethrower. (Most A attacks are punches and kicks.)
B: Hyper Beam (Can be charged)
B Up: Sky Uppercut: Jumps up high and does an uppecut, but then comes down fast like Ike
B Side: Blaze Kick.
B Down: Focus Energy. If charged up enough, then the next attack will do massive damage.
Final Smash: Blast Burn: Enough said.
