• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Man wants to marry comic book character

What is this planet coming to? Those people are mad, those wapanese.

It wasn't about Wapanese.

"I am no longer interested in three dimensions. I would even like to become a resident of the two-dimensional world," he wrote.

XD As soon as I read this I knew at once nobody could have written it but a Japanese man. No offence meant, of course, I love the Japanese for their quirky, no-limits attitudes. :D

I wonder how manga authors would feel when they learn one of their characters is married to a 'three-dimensional' person. :O

Wapanese means white guy trying to be asian.

Anyway, someone's just hit the glass ceiling and got a concussion.

wapanese.
“Wapanese” are decidedly non-Japanese individuals who, by means of thoroughly warped postmodern acculturation processes, have come to the decision that it is in their best interest to act as if they were denizens of the nation of Japan.
Japanese: Something of, from, or related to Japan, an island country in East Asia.
A Japanese man has enlisted hundreds of people in a campaign to allow marriages between humans and cartoon characters, saying he feels more at ease in the "two-dimensional world."
:|

I'm not interested in what this guy says. Just if he actually ends up being allowed to marry or not.

Has there been any update in these two months?

Everyone loves a literalist.

Not everyone.

Some people love a literalist. :D

Well, if you can make documentaries about people who are in love with their cars....

Heard of this a while ago. And I'm still not completely sure how marrying someone who doesn't exist works. The ring would keep falling down.

Of course, not even a fictional person would have me ;_; xD

Well, if you can make documentaries about people who are in love with their cars....

I saw that on the big fat quiz of the year. It made me feel really sick.

At least with a fictional character you can't actually do anything with them.

He obviously recognizes that our world is a shithole, so he can't be that far from sanity.
