Open Metal Wing: Liquid (1 spot left!)

((Don't worry, he won't))

Kailani felt different. Not weaker, not stronger, just... different.

Confused about what was going on, he rubbed his eyes. Or tried to, for that matter, for his hands wouldn't move. It was only after several more futile attempts did he realize that his hands were chained to a wall.

Where the heck am I? he thought, And why am I chained up?

His vison finally clearing, Kailani noticed others in the room with him, also chained. I'm going to have to guess that this is a prison, then. he thought, For there would be no other explantion about our problems, right?

((Quick question: Do our characters know about their powers yet? Or will they learn about them as the RP progresses?))

((OOC: Good question. I forgot to add that ;>.>

Okay, basically everyone had been created in a lab, and they've went their whole lives being trained up, and seldom have had contact with each other. So, they know fully of their powers. Hope that clears things up a bit))

((Interesting. Let's see how I can make use of that...))

My last memory was returning to my chamber after I'd been training-

Wait. Training for what?

Kailani couldn't figure it out at first. It took several moments before he could recall what had been going on.

training to control our powers, I think. I'm pretty sure That I was told i can control my density and manipualte darkness. Let's see if I can put that to use.

Kailani turned intangible, hoping to pass through the chains, but no sooner did he try that did a blast of electricity shocked him. He yelled in pain and reverted to normal, upon doing so, the shocking stopped.

Okay, that didn't work, he thought, Whoever imprisoned us, or at least, me, knew who they were dealing with; no doubt my attempts at using darkness to free myself would be futile.

Grondaia also woke up chained, like the others. She giggled as if though it was a joke, using her powers to half-transform into an ant she saw scuttling across the floor. Her skin turned black, and she sprouted an extra pair of arms from her abdomen. She laughed again.

Hang on, if this is reality then...

He rapidly breathed out. The air coming out seemed hot. Very hot. John could have sworn there were tiny flames forming in the gas.

Yes, that was real, so that makes this the real world, and that means I can probably do all that stuff. Of course! Thats what was happening before the different worlds. I could breath all that stuff.

He looked around the chamber. There were a few more people chained up besides him. Some were still asleep, although some others appeared to be also waking up.

Kailani began to take note of his surroundings. Several of the other priosners were awake, and one of them appeared to be undergoing some kind of... tansformation?

Probably that, he thought. He half considered warning this prisoner about what had happened when he had tried to break free, but decided against it.

She'll learn it the hard way.

Byron woke again to the shouting of others, rather annoyed by it. He decided to try and calm them down; he was tired from hanging from a wall and figured he could use a bit of sleep.
"Just shut up already," he mumbled.
He tried to calm the others down, but being so sleepy, he ended up making others tired and sleepy. The room quieted down, minus the few stubborn ones, and Byron drifted back to sleep.

John felt a wave of tiredness come over him suddenly.

Not again.

Shaking himself awake, he looked up at he chains holding his arms.

Maybe, if it's hot enough..

He breathed deep and blaseted another wave of hot air, this time at the chains. They seemed to glow a little, but the were unnaffected by the heat.

So much for that then. I suppose that they must have thought of that. They must not want me to get out of here. But who are these other people? Some of them seem to have abilities like I do. Sockpuppets? What have sockpuppets got to do with anything? Why can't...wait, that's important. I think. What is it though? Why can't I remember?

"Well, it looks like your still have resent memory of your powers. That's good," a voice blared over the intercom. "With the exception of Grondaia, of course. At lest now we know that your chamber isn't as secure as we though. Dam ants. Be luckily, Grondaia, that we're not punishing you for escaping. And to the other who are awake, you will be unlatched once all six of you are awake."

The last voice finally did it. Brandon awoke to find himself chained up. His first instinct... struggle for freedom. He pulled at the metal chains, lashing his arms and legs. A few seconds later, however, he realized that wasn't going to work. "What do you want with me?!" he yelled, looking around at the room they were in. There were other captives with him, and they all seemed like there was something... different... about them. But no sign of whoever was holding them. Brandon gritted his teeth, waiting for communication from his captors.

((OOC: Okay, long post ahoy!))

"Well, that was quick," mumbled whoever was commanding the intercom. "Well, let me start by saying welcome. I'm glad you could make it."

"Uh, you drugged them and dragged them here," said a faint voice in the intercom.

"Shut up and do your work!"

"Shut up an follow the laws."

There was a grunt of disapproval, and then the man continued talking. "You six have been selected carefully to be sent outside of the city's barriers."

"There's only seven, so all you really did was pick one not to go."

"Shut up!" Followed after was a slur of swears until the man finally calmed down. "Okay, I know you may not know what they city is, or what the barrier is for that matter, but I can tell you that you will be saving lives for what you are about to do. Be it seem like we are treating you like prisoners, well, we're not-"

"Yeah, we just have them chained up to the wall, and drugged to sleep. Definitely not our prisoners."

There was a few moment were all that could be heard was deep breathing over the intercom as the man tried to get over his anger. "We're sending all of you out. All you have to do is make sure there aren't any pokemon outside. I'll tell you more through you're leader, Alex. Right now I have to deal with chopping off my assistants head. Good day"

The moment he said 'good day', all the chain locking up everyone one opened.

Alex threw himself to the floor, the large metal wings on his back finally revealing themselves. They stretched and moves, free from being stuck between his back and the cold wall. It was almost enough to make him scream that he was free.

John pushed his feet forwards, and managed to stay on his feet. He thrust his arms out and began to streach. As he bent and straighened his arms, he felt a curious sensation, which suddenly built into an electric shock.

"Agh!"

I Forgot movement charges up electricity. Not moving much for so long must have made my body think that moveing my arms was far more work than it actually was.

He looked around the group.

"So which one of you would be Alex then?"

Alex bit his tongue before standing up. With his sleeve he wiped away any tears that was in his eyes, doing it it as hard as he could for reasons he didn't know why. Error? He looked at the person who had addressed him. "I-I'm Alex," he stuttered.

((o.O I didn't escape. I half-transformed, but I'm still all chained up. I wasn't even thinking of doing that, just having fun.))

Grondaia laughed again and became a normal human, looking at the boy who had just spoken.

((OOC: Oh, oops. I though you said she was on the floor. You were talking about the ant <.<;;

Oh, and please make sure there are at least four sentences in your post. It's a rule.))

((Looks like I missed a little))

Kailani found himslef free of the chains. "About time," he siad. it was then that he remembered the voice who had explained everything to him. "It's patrol duty, then? All we're doing is looking for any pokemon that are around here? My talents shouldn't be wasted like this."

He turned to the one who claimed himself to be Alex. "You may be the leader of us, but don't expect me to follow you. I work alone."

Byron fell as the chains were released and woke upon hitting the ground. Still sleepy, he leaned against the wall to watch everyone else chat.
"Ehh, disagreements already? Didn't we meet about five minutes ago?" he asked. "Do what you want, but I'm sure it will be harder on your own."
Getting bored after a couple of minutes, he walked around the room to see it from every angle. He went to a corner of the room and visual projected images of the wall in front of him to appear invisible. He laughed under his breath.

Kailani heard the remark from one of the others. "When I want your opinion, I'll.. ask... for... it?"

Kailani counted the amount of people in the room: Himself, and four others. That makes five, he thought, Didn't that perosn say there were six of us?

He was uneasy about this whole thing, truth to be told. Why would we need to be on the lookout for pokemon? he wondered, They don't do any harm to anyone... right?

John stood where he had landed, eyes closed, listening to the others talk.

"It seems to me like we're the scouts, or the advance gaurd, for something or other. They won't want us separating, not unless they want us to. Like it or not, we will be working together, so we need to at least know each other by name. The name's John. See, easy. All we have to do is have some vauge principle of trust. You thing that the people who put us here care about us? They're going to send us out first to check the coast is clear, so itseems to me they don't."

"Then let me rephrase my comments," Kailani said. "I'll come with you, but don't expect me to save your hides, and stay out of my way."

"And I don't see any reason why I should trust any of you," He continued. "I don't know any of you. I was dropped in here with- imprisoned would be a better word- and now here I am being told that I have to work with all of you to patrol this place? A task that could easily be done on our own,a dn cover more ground in doing so? That, i refuse to accept without a good explanation."
