• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Minecraft question.

If you don't play it in the browser, do you have to buy Minecraft? I ask because I already downloaded it, and just need to register. Which actually brings me to another question. Why do they need your E-mail? do they ever actually E-mail you, or what?

They e-mailed me confirmation that I bought it, so I guess that's why they want it.

And as far as I know the browser version isn't the full version you get from buying it.

Well I don't want to buy it (yet) and I wish to play the download version, as I am tiring of the alpha version or "classic minecraft" as it were.

So they don't send you like a billion annoying e-mails about updates and such?
