MLT_REQ - Unusual Pokémon Info

Re: MLT_REQ - Unusual Pokémon Info

Hmm. I've always liked this kind of stuff. Very interesting information - I'd just wish there was more of it, or something for the newer games, since this is all kind of old and mostly stuff we're likely to have heard before at some point in all those years since G/S/C came out.

Re: MLT_REQ - Unusual Pokémon Info

Hey, thanks. I personally have little interest in post‐GBC Pokémon games, so GSC tends to be the main focus; I try to make up for it with stuff that most people have never heard of. Still, if I ever get around to messing around with the GBA games it’ll probably make it on there (TBH I still have about a dozen entries for Gold to be written up, I’m just really lazy).

Re: MLT_REQ - Unusual Pokémon Info

I found all of that stuff really interesting, and I don't think I've seen any of it before, save for the stuff about the GSC Safari Zone (although I'd never seen actual screenshots). Or, I had heard of Oak as a trainer and the Sweet Honey in GSC, but I'd never seen anything that in-depth on it. Please do write more. :]

Also, don't most people think that "BIRD" is just a beta flying-type or something of the sort?

It's very interesting, as everyone has already said

I've heard of Trainer Oak, and maybe sweet honey...

Re: MLT_REQ - Unusual Pokémon Info

This is actually really interesting and I wish I had known about this before.
You've sparked my interest in Pokemon again. :3

Re: MLT_REQ - Unusual Pokémon Info

This information is interesting, but... how are you finding all of this stuff out? Maybe you could make a page that explains how you came to these conclusions? Not knowing how you found out about these things, my instinct reaction is to be skeptical. =(

He presumably found it by ripping data from the ROM. :/

Re: MLT_REQ - Unusual Pokémon Info

Haha. That was pretty cool. Thanks for the link.

I found article the regarding the 'deleted' house in Olivine to be the most interesting.

Guess I can't presume that, since I don't know the first thing about ROMs and such... *shrug*

Is the third Game Corner game accessible with a cheat code or something? It's intriguing.

Theoretically, with a Game Genie it might be possible. If I knew of a way to access it with any code I would put it up there.

And yes, this does come from ROMs, just like all those sprites and movelists from Bulbapedia or SPP or what have you.
