a fakemon named rachi? is that some sort of coincidence? (not talking about jirachi, I have an old fakemon called rachi/ratchy)

nice splices, by the way, people don't usually go that far with the details.
 
Your fusions are very well done, especially Lucaurus. The thing that bothers me about it though, is its leg that it's kneeling on. I don't know what about it; it just seems a bit odd to me. Other than that, it's fantastic.

With your other fusions, I would suggest adding more of the other Pokemon. Take Bagodude for example, try putting the legs of Bagon on it. But that's just my personal opinion.

And for your scratches, most of them are a very good start. They just need a little tweaking. Rachi for example, the back looks a little flat and could be rounded out a little. Also, try looking at D/P sprites when you're doing the eyes and try to imitate them. I'm not saying copy them pixel for pixel, but try to make them in that style. That's probably the biggest thing that needs fixed. I also noticed that most of your scratches are a little overshaded and small. It's ok to make them a little bigger.

I had no idea what to do with the leg it was kneeling on, so I just left it the same way it was done in the dppt sprite.

I tried to make Bagodude be less simple. It looked stupid with legs. so I got rid of them.

Eyes... eyes are the big problem with my sprites. I never was any good at drawing eyes, so I usually just use slit eyes/dots/eyes with one pixel's worth of pupil. Eye (couldn't resist the lame pun) can't find any good resources for drawing eyes. (Most of what I find look way too realistic.) Anybody have an idea on where I could find some?

The light source is always from the top right for Pokemon sprites, though other than that, it looks good :o
 
It kind of looks 2Dish.

I would recommend how to change it but seeing as I'm not that great of a critisizer... meh. It's awful cute, by the way. :)

wait... do you have access to my crappy original concept drawings I made at camp?!

darnit, you even made garlock better than garlyle, which is just a piece of garlic with eyes and spike-legs at the bottom of each clove.

seriously though, I don't think you're supposed to recolor the entire black outline. my friend told me to leave it black wherever it's touching the darkes shade of the color.
 
Personal habit. I really can't stand people who see my sprites and go "OH JOO USE ALL COLOR OUTLINES JOO R TEH SUXXORZ".

No, I don't have access to your drawings, and Garlock was made for a challenge on PMFOmega. You had to make a Pokemon with a bulb on it.

I lost because Xikaze had to be a meanie and make his sprite better than mine. ):
