My school... on fire?

Storm Earth and Fire

Would you like to make a contract?
So I notice an unusual amount of traffic on my way to school this morning. As I pull onto the school grounds into the parking lot, there are a LOT of students standing, huddling outside, like some sort of protest. Keep in mind, it's 25.4 degrees Fahrenheit out there, -3.7 Celcius. And it's drizzling. I get a look at one of the entrances, and there's a fire truck parked in front of it. The principal and assistant principals are standing around outside. There's a firefighter walking in. People are leaving in carload lots, literally, as there are 4 or more people jammed into ordinary sedans leaving. The other entrances are also covered by fire trucks.

I believe a small part of the school is on fire. Mwahahaha, I suppose that's no school for me today. Which is good, the weather is nasty. Cold and rainy =/= fun.

You're damn lucky. I don't think our school has caught fire since I joined. And the science block is filled with gas taps. Seriously, I'm surprised that no one has tryed to blow it up yet.

mwahahah evil ideas

Lucky :o

All that happens in our school is that someone punches the "fire alarm buttons" (which I can't rememeber the name of) halfway in a lesson making you lose 10-30 minutes of it.

Well, turns out it's because somebody somehow started a small fire in one of the boys' bathrooms. School just started about 30 minutes late is all. I went home to have some hot chocolate and post this, but then I called a friend who told me school is starting.

Sucks, messed up my teacher's plans for cooking class.

False alarm, I suppose. :P

It's better that way. Sure missing school is fun, but being out of it for several months...

Kinda kills your mentality.

But, I wouldn't mind it happening to, let's say, my geography teacher's classroom...

While I'd love a day off, the school being on fire is a bit too much.

We once had the History room actually burned down once. Not good, since they raised security, hence they banned MP3s and other electronics save for the phone. Also leather jackets.

Meh, I'm only in high school for about 6 more months. And then it's limbo time. :D
Urk, I don't think my school has ever had a fire. Lucky ^_^

Someone accidentally lit a fire at my last school, too. It caught a roll of toilet paper on fire, and most of a hallway, and the boys' bathroom, smelled like burnt plastic.
