((You mean they need our help. And, when you said 'the team split up and went to help," it's a slight player control.))

Fang nodded. "Okay! Okay!" She immediately went in the direction whereshe thought the Meowth was.

Ijii could only "slither" (or slide) and hop, and right now he was doing the latter. He was looking straight ahead until a glint in a tree caught his eye. Wait, what was that? No, it was just the sun. Or was it?
Ijii looked up, and he saw a cat-like Pokemon clinging to a branch. "Fang, up there!" He pointed to where the Meowth was.
 
Bubbles managed to kick another Beedrill in the head, and fired a bubblebeam.
"GET."
Blast.
"DAMN."
Blast.
"LOST!"
Blast.
 
Tessa-May looked down at a Swalot.
"Oh, hey! You there! Can I get some help up 'ere?" She asked.
 
Fang said, "Land on me! Land on me!" She ran around in circles. "I'm soft!" Then she noticed a pile of leaves and pushed it under the Meowth. "There! There! Drop!"
 
Meanwhile, Jed and Ale came to the Piplup. "Water Pulse!" "Confusion!" They started helping the Piplup defeat the Beedrills...
