So, I did a somewhat-realistic Castform for a contest a while ago, and while I didn't enter it, it has gotten me liking somewhat-realistic Pokemon art. Now fullblown realism, but less 'cutesy' than most Pokemon

So, today I drew my Muk, Axe Effect, semi-realistically.

(yes, that is a Raticate skull - Axe Effect is based on the slimes from WoW, who have skulls for 'heads')

I'm going to try the rest of my team, then possibly take suggestions.
 
I have a problem with the arms. While I understand that Muk is made of sludge and thus has no joints or anything, they look disconnected from the body and generally awkward.

Other than that, Muk is Muk. Looks nice.

That Castform is... weird. Something about it just looks... wrong. It's probably the face. (it has LIPS! I don't know why, but that's really creepy for some reason.) The Muk looks pretty good, though, and not far off from what I'd imagine a Muk looking like if drawn in a more-realistic-than-Pokémon style.

Also, on a completely unrelated note... up until very recently, I always misread your username as "Medical Marijuana."
