OMG! I passed!

I did it! I passed my Grade 5 theory exam. I literally heard it from my teacher over the phone 5 minutes ago. It took me two turns. First time I got 54/100, pass is 66. This time I got 80! Which is a merit! I'm so happy. I could jump up and down on a springy bed till I fell onto the floor, then I'd get back on again! I'm so happy! It's rally ironic, cause during dinner we were thinking about the results, and if I failed I'd have to take it again.:dead: But now I know and I don't! Whippee!:grin: Mercury signs out.

Wow! Congratulations! You went from an F to a B-! You brought your grade up a whole 26 points! That's amazing!

Hmm. Good work.
Yes. You must have been working hard to make sure you wouldn't fail again. I, as a self-proclaimed pain the the butt about education, can approve of this.

I usually get most subjects Bs and a few As, but that's quite an accomplishment. ^^ (lul. I'm 11 and smarter - and probbly taller - than you.)

Actually Murkrowfeather, I go to King Edwards School Birmingham, one of the best secondary schools in England.:angry:. With the end of year tests I got all 1's apart from a 2 in Maths and a 3 in Science. 1 is excellent, 2 is satisfactory, 3 is below average, 4 is rubbish. If you get a distinction you are top of your class in that subject. I got a distinction in music. But you probably are taller than me. I'm in the smaller half of my class.:sweatdrop:

Ahh. See, I'm an American, so I don't know all of your grading processes ort whatever over there in England.

But just to rub it in your face, I'm 5'7-ish. >8D

Why is it that people reply to this Grade 5 theory thread, and not mine? ;-;

Anyway, congratulations; you did better than me, I got 66 (the pass mark), although I did it first time.

Woo that's lucky. Sort of better than me. (You did it first time...*sobs*). Murkrowfeather, I'm just over 5'0 I think. 5'7 at 11 years old? That's tall!

Congrats!

I fail at music theory. If someone shows me how to play something on the piano, I can learn it really easily or I can learn it by ear. But if you give me the sheet music? Fail.

It takes me half an hour to find out what key it's in. So well done, you're smarter than this sixteen-year-old. (:
