Leviathan
Bracken Horror
Re: [OPEN] Nisdharil OOC
Bleah, school, Guitar Hero, and laziness have been keeping me from doing anything productive. So here's that second character I told everyone I'd be making.
Username: Leviathan
Character Name: Jinzen
Race: Troll
Age: 39
Gender: Male
Appearance: Fitting into the highest reaches of size categories, Jinzen is a true giant, towering over most other bipedal creatures and even other trolls. His skin, an incredulously dark shade of green, has worn down over the decades and is covered in several scars and scorch marks, mostly concentrated around his forearms. Most of his hair was burned off in an accident several years, now leaving only a few black wisps on his scalp, certainly not enough to hide his beady black eyes, or the broken nubs of horns on his forehead, or the horizontal scar running across the bridge of his nose. Having spent so much time in the heat of his forge, he became slightly less accustomed to the cold, and now wears a heavy fur cloak over the pants and shirt of worn, ragged cloth whenever he ventures into the snowy wastes. He brings with him an axe that he had specially crafted, the head made to resemble an anvil (and probably weighing as much as one to boot).
Personality: As is the definition of trolls, Jinzen isn't a particularly thoughtful individual. Although, for whatever reason, he has gained enough sense to actually become aware of this fact. He has grown impatient of the dull-witted, barbaric nature of his fellow trolls, yet is still disgusted by his own illiteracy. He often tries to act like he is more intelligent than he really is, but this rarely ever falls in his favor and usually ends with getting clobbered by another troll.
History: Jinzen was always large for a troll, even when he had originally hatched, which, needless to say, helped him get a lot of the things he wanted through bullying everyone else. Though his strength was great, no one thought he was quite strong enough to be the next Gurrz, and everyone on the hunting parties was too scared to cooperate with him. And thus he was given the only job remaining as the area's local blacksmith. Jinzen treated the raging inferno he worked with as if it were a gift from the gods themselves, and improved his skills in the forge so much that he was, in time, considered to be the greatest smith in the land.
