Safira dove into the water, then curved back up to the surface. The superfluous abundance of chlorine in the air made her nose feel weird, but she ignored it. This was only practice, after all; she hoped that she would place in the race the next day.

"Okay Buizel let's go!"
Charlie and his Buizel dived into the water. They raced each other to the other end of the bay, but Buizel always won. However, Charlie was always improving. He told himself he would get a medal at the competition, hopefully at his Number 1 stroke, which happened to be Butterfly. Then Breastroke, then Freestyle then Backstroke. He was alright at the Individal Medley, but wouldn't stand a chance against older kids. The competition age was 8-15! How was he supposed to do any good. But he'd still try at least.

Terry ran and dived, and splashed the other two. He swam ahead with Buizel, but then, the sea erupted, and Gyarados came out! "Aww, man!" Terry shouted, then Gyarados Knocked him down. He was sinking unconcious.

Mysti walked into the pool area,only to see two other swimmers.She called out Bubbles(her Buizel)and jumped into the pool.Bubbles taught Mysti how to swim when she was little,and since then,they have been best buddies.They jumped into the pool and started doing laps together.When they were warmed up,she started doing race laps,and Bubbles would point out every flaw,making her better if she fixed it.

"Gyarados! Buizel, give your best shot, I've got to save Terry!"
Although Charlie Terry would probably be the reason he wouldn't get a Gold Medal, he was still his friend! He needed help and fast. He dived down and caught sight of Terry's body. He got to the older boy, and started pushing from underneath. Terry would die if he didn't breath soon! Then Charlie realized. He would die too! He pushed quickly, but was struggling under the weight.
"I'm not a pro swimmer for nothing!" he thought, and kicked with all his might. He could see the surface, but his Buizel was struggling against the Gyarados. He gulped in the air when he surface, but quickly got to the side to get Terry out.

Safira treaded water beside her Buizel. She checked her waterproof watched; she would time herself and aim for two minutes.
"Bui!" Her Buizel said excitedly, cheering her on.
After those minutes were up, she climbed back to the edge and shook herself a bit. The sun reflected off the water of the outdoor pool, but that didn't stop Safira from reentering the water and practicing her elementary backstroke for 20 yards.

As Charlie climbed out after putting Terry on the side, the Gyarados used Twister.
"BUI---ZEL!!!!!"
"Buizel, no!" Charlie cried out as his Buizel flew across the air, "this is not good."

Safira checked her waterproof watch. 12:30.
"It's time for lunch," She said to her Buizel, "Then we can see if we can catch any wild Pokemon."
"Bui!"
"Water-type, of course," Safira added. "Let's go."
She entered the door of her house and began to make a sandwich.

"Buizel show that Gyarados who's boss!" shouted Aubrey just arriving. She was thinking Mabye this Gyarados is just weak enough to be caught. She waited for the Buizel to use its finishing attack andthrew the pokeball as hard as she could. "This Gyarados is mine." she muttered to herself. The pokeball sank down to the bottom as soon as she jumped in to get it. "Woo Hoo!! Look i caught the Gyarados!!" she shouted to the others just noticing Terry she she swam up tosee if he was alright.

Terry rose up. Sac, the Buizel, raced on with him. "While I was down there, I saw a cave! Let's catch our breath, then go!" Terry went under and started descending to the cave.

After Safira finished her peanut butter and jelly sandwich, Safira stepped out of the house. "Come on, Jetti," she called, and the Buizel jumped down from its chair (it had been eating some cereal) and raced after Safira. Together, they ran to a nearby pond. There were lots of Surskits, but one seemed different than the rest. It was black.
"That's nice," Safira whispered.
Suddenly there was a rush of air, and a Swellow came swooping down. All the Surskit scattered, but the black one hid behind Safira, who was kneeling down. The Swellow soared back up, but immediately came down, catching a Surskit in its mouth and leaving.
Safira turned around. The black Surskit was shivering with fright.
Safira looked at Jetti. "Tell this little one that we want to help it."
Jetti nodded. "Bui, buizel buizel."
"Sur?" the Pond Skater Pokemon stepped a bit closer.
"Buizel, bui."
"Surskit." It crawled all the way onto Safira's head, making her giggle.
"Okay, you can be mine. Your name is Watermelon."
"Surskit!" Watermelon jumped for joy.
"Let's go then," Safira said as Midnight jumped off. They followed her down the road until they encountered a few others. One boy was walking toward a cave.
"Hi!" Safira called.
