• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Skrall reached into a 'pocket' on his leg. He pulled out an oran berry and a Rawst berry.

"They will help but not to much," Skrall said handing it ti the magmar,"Use Oran to heal and use Rawst to heal burn. I can see the burn in your mouth when you opened it a second ago. If the burn ruined your vocal cords the berry will help it until we find some man made burn heal. I saw a med lab nearby."

With clumsy hands, Sals took the berries, and nodded gratefully to the Garchomp. He swallowed them, and allowed them to sooth him, though he knew they could not heal, for he had tried these burn-healing berries before, his was just to serious for natural medicine. However, this Man Made Medicine sounded promising; humans were a crafty and wise race, adept at creating all manner of things. Could this medicine help him, truly? Could it cure what had made him mute all his life? He had to find out!

He struggled to his feet, control returning to him with every second that passed. He staggered over to the Garchomp, eyes asking what his voice could not-
Where? Show me!

Eclipse slowly woke up, blinking slowly, as his brain started to kick in, he realized what he had done, and struggled to get up, although his limbs felt like lead. Apparently, the Squirtle and the Garchomp had found them, and apparently, the Magmar was awake.

"There," Skrall said pointing at a door,"But if I bust it down then it may alert the guards, it shall be a team decision."

He liked this he felt like a kind leader. He always wanted to be a leader, now he may have his chance. He just had to learn to lighten up.

Arekkusu looked at Skrall and nodded. Arekkusu knew just from Skralls expression that he wanted to be a leader. Skrall seemed like the type to be leader. Arekkusu looked at Eclipse, who just woke up.

How could they get the magmar out of there? They could probably dig under the cell to get him, but the people would notice a gaping hole in the ground. What to do?

Sals staggered to where Eclipse had bent the bars earlier, and wobbled through it. He was unsteady on his feet, the paralysis still crippling him, but he could move. In a fight, no doubt, he was doomed, but he could move around with limited success. He looked at where the Garchomp had pointed, a steel door that might take some doing before it opened. He leaned against the wall, and smiled with ugly, puffy lips. He motioned to the Med Lab door, and shrugged-if his team mates decided that it was worth the risk breaking in, great. If not-that was fine. He had lived his full life in silence-he would be more than happy to live out the rest in the same way.

Arekkusu chuckled with embarressment, forgeting about the bars.

squirtleblackglasses "I'll dig under it, the while i'm digging, put the dirt back in it, then i'll open it."

Eclipse followed after them, leaping clear through the gap in the bars, or, more accurately, he leaped clear, but the cloak around his throat snagged, and stuck fast. It must have been caught in a few places, since it wouldn't give an inch, and, when the small dog-like creature pulled, it just choked him. Eclipse coukd turn about halfway around however, enough to blast the bars with another Shadow Ball.

Unfortunately, before he had a chance to do so, his keen ears picked up the noise of hard soled boots - the noise that usually accompanied the grate in his cage opening, and food being given to him. Guards.
"Hey guys!" He called to the others, "I'd hurry, looks like the guards are back..." He wiggled around some more, attempting to get free, but only succeeding in getting his back paw stuck. The steady thump of boots was getting closer now, and Eclipse gave up struggling, partly due to exhaustion, partly to fear. He doubted he'd get away now, but he hoped the others would...

"Skrall, finish the hole. I gotta help eclipse!"

Arekkusu knew it had to save eclipse. After all, eclipse helped the magmar get out. It tugged on the cloak. It got some of it out. Howeveer, it twas too late. the guards had alreafdy come. what to do!

"Rodger That Sir, " Skrall said in a half witty but serious tone.

He used Dragon Pulse to blow a hole in the ground and jumped in. He used it again and again to create a long tunnel.

The poochyena looked up at the squirtle, a sad look on his face.
"I'm glad you came..." Eclipse looked to the direction of the footsteps, and tugged uselessly at his paw.

A dark figure rounded the corner- a guard, complete with personal body armor, the kind more likely to be used in a riot, and a small black box, with two small silver prongs at one end. Electricity sparked between the prongs, and a low, involuntary growl escaped Eclipse's mouth, which, unfkortunately, got them noticed.

Skrall Jumped out of the hole and let out a dragon Pulse.

"Time to move people," he said, "Get that Magmar in there first, then Eclipse, then the Squirtle, I'll follow you."

If they could get in an open area he could use draco meteor but this was too close.

Sals sent an Ember at Eclips's cloak. He hoped the Poocheyana wouldn't be too angry, after all, it was his life or his clothes. Then, he half-stumbled, half-ran to the hole. He was a few feet away when he decided to press his luck, and he stopped still for a moment, two, three, four, then-fire exploded out of his mouth, crippling him with pain and showering the guards with flame. If their riot shields were heat-resistant, he'd only have slowed them down, if not, they were dead. He shook his head, throat burning, and dived head-first into the hole.

Eclipse saw the fire arching over him, setting fire to his snagged clothing. At first it felt faintly warm, but began to heat up, until it was beginning to scorch the fur on his back. His yellow eyes widened in horror. He was on fire! He was sure the magmar had the best intentions, but his back was on fire and his paw was still stuck. He let out a sound akin to both a scream and a howl, as the flames ate through his thick fur, spreading over his body. Wait. The squirtle had water...so, he could put his fur out!

Somehow, between the flames licking at his body, he spoke in a strangled voice: "Put me out!"

"This may hurt a little," Skrall warned then used whirlpool on Eclipse. It would put the flames out but make him a little dizzy.

"Cannot hold them off forever, Let's move," Skrall yelled to the rest of the group as he let out another Dragon Pulse

Arekkusu looked at skrall from his remark earlier. "The squirtle has a name. C'mon Eclipse! Get in the hole! I'll hold them off!"

Arekkusu used water pulse on the guards, while the others were escaping.

"Well Mr. Squirtle we havent exactly had time for proper introduction," Skrall retorted, "Now go!"

Skrall ran at the nearest guard and used Dragon claw and then dragon pulse on the other.

"You have to go!...I have some business to take care of!"

Arekkusu used rapid spin on the guards.

"I DON'T CARE!" Skrall yelled, "Awake or unconsious I will get you down that hole first."

Then his body was covered in some whitish purple glow and he carged at another guard.

Arekkusu stared at Skrall. He knew Skrall was trying to do good, but Skrall didnt understand what Arekkusu was saying.

"This is important....Please...go...be safe..."

Arekkusu sucked in water and used hydro pump on the guards.
