D/P/Pt Questions about EV training

Darksong

Back in action!
I'm trying to train a Pokémon for competitive battling, and I want to know something about how EVs work.

This is about how EVs are split when I switch out. For example, the Pokémon I'm going against gives 1 EV for Attack. I have two Pokémon, Pokémon A and Pokémon B. If I start with Pokémon A, then switch to Pokémon B and defeat the foe (neither Pokémon has Pokérus or is holding an item), how will the EVs be split? What happens if the foe gives 2 EVs? 3 EVs?

Sorry; it might be a lot. I hope you don't mind answering. :)

I'm sure that both pokemon will get the same evs. If they are facing a bidoof, for example, they will both get 1 hp point each.

All Pokemon involved in a fight that get - or could have gotten - EXP get the same amount of EVs. EVs obtained are not split.

Do Pokemon with an EXP share get EXP? Yes? Then they still get the full amount of EVs.
