• Welcome to The Cave of Dragonflies forums, where the smallest bugs live alongside the strongest dragons.

    Guests are not able to post messages or even read certain areas of the forums. Now, that's boring, don't you think? Registration, on the other hand, is simple, completely free of charge, and does not require you to give out any personal information at all. As soon as you register, you can take part in some of the happy fun things at the forums such as posting messages, voting in polls, sending private messages to people and being told that this is where we drink tea and eat cod.

    Of course I'm not forcing you to do anything if you don't want to, but seriously, what have you got to lose? Five seconds of your life?

Recommend a DS Game

What? A page went on without anybody referring 358/2 Days?! You people should be ashamed. :C

Ugh, well other people already told you a lot of things I would suggest so... Other then the one above, I can't really sugest you anymore. |D;

That's because the game isn't out stateside yet. And won't be for a while. It'd be kinda hard to import a game, and then be on a trip when it gets delivered, y'know? If we were recommending imports anyway I would've recommended Tales of Hearts, Tales of Innocence, Soma Bringer, and Riz-Zoawd in a heartbeat, but I didn't =P

DS games? Well except for the pokemon games the main thing I can suggest would be Custom Robo Arena. Its a kind of love it or hate it game so you may want to check it out first. If you have the wii shop channel I think you can get a free downloadable demo.

Custom Robo Arena... THAT'S a good one. Can't believe I forgot about it... But yeah, it's one of those games where you like it or hate it, no in between. But if you liked the one on Gamecube (I really, really liked that one too for some reason... Something about it I just found fun. Guess it had that 'charm' for me, being the first Custom Robo game I played.), more than likely you'll like this.

Drawn to Life can probably still be found in stores ($20 at the most). It's a platformer and the main gimmick is to draw your hero. If you like drawing/are a perfectionist/are a sucker for cute animals then I'd say go for it.

Lock's Quest is an RTS/tower defense, also no more than $20. Gameplay is divided into two modes: Build and Battle. You've got 2 or 3 minutes to set up your defenses, and unlike a classic tower defence where you watch your walls get smashed, you take your little guy out there and beat up robots for 2 or 3 minutes. There's 100 'days'- each day is a build/battle, so there's over 10 hours of gameplay. It also has 3 adjustable difficulty levels.

Both games you can go back and replay any level and unlock a secret developer's room.
