On that note, if you are somehow able to track down copies, Digimon Digital Card Battle, Digimon World 2, and Digimon World 3, all for PS1. Really hard to find, but rather good games.

If you're in it for the explosions, try Boom Blox for Wii. It's not an RPG, but it's still got tons of exploding. I don't have it, but I've heard it's fun. It was also made by Steven Spielberg, so it probably has at least somewhat of a story.

I have played it. And it is truly a game anyone could enjoy, but I think it may in fact be best enjoyed drunk. Have yet to try this, my friends and I, for the most part, can't drink yet, but I can seriously imagine it being a fun drinking game on top of just the game itself, which is really fun, but only enjoyable multiplayer. And it has no story that I could see.
